Great place to stay, rooms well furnished and warm. Includes iron, ironing board (full size), hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Shower is great and there were good quality (Dove) toiletries. Breakfast was perfect, everything we could ask for, even supplying little bags for ones that want to breakfast on the go. Staff were funny and friendly and the hotel is walking distance from the main town. Will definitely book again

The staff are very friendly and helpful, I left my key cards twice in the room and gave me new one right away.

Breakfast is decent you need to be there early to get scrambled eggs, other than that pretty average with toast, butter and cereals.

I booked two rooms and one of them could have had nicer carpets, the carpets looked abit dingey however my room was especially pleasant and had free upgrade to family room.

The manager was very talkative and friendly made us feel welcome a very personal touch! I think his name is Ian and had a loud Irish accent.

This was the perfect stop off hotel on our journey back from Cornwall. Amazing staff, the rooms are super clean and the beds are perfect. The car park was slightly expensive at £16. Limited food menu but the staff offered great knowledge of local places to order from. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Had A great stay. Room and bathroom good size, comfy bed, no noise from outside as its near a busy road. Easy walking distance from town centre and cathedral about 10 minutes. Quays as well easy 15 minutes walk away. All staff we engaged with were excellent, Friendly and knowledgeable. Good breakfast included in price. Excellent value for money.

The staff is very charming and helpful, great location with decent parking both on property and off. Very nice breakfast buffet with ample food selection. Room is nicely decorated but I wish the mattress would have been more comfortable. Bed only comes with a duvet which I find hard to deal with. I was either very warm with it on or cold if I decided to sleep without. I find sheets and blankets more enjoyable.

Stayed for one night at the end of December with my puppy. Wish I could have stayed longer. I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice and spacious the room was and how clean it appeared. Staff were friendly, check in and check out was easy. Breakfast seemed cheap, but did the job. Good for the price. Impressed!

The hotel itself was quite nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was a decent start to the day. The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the parking situation was a real let-down. The £16 daily fee charged by the external company is simply outrageous and significantly detracts from the overall experience

Comfy bed, very quiet, easy check in. Lift to the third floor. Love the ‘art deco’ style furniture. |Great breakfast included in the price. Had to pay for parking which was fine as it was onsite and plenty of spots available. |Only down side is that there is not a fridge/mini bar in the room |Been decorated beautifully for Christmas.
