I booked the Holiday Inn Express Leeds as a 1 night stay just for a bed for the night between travelling and wasn’t really expecting much. ||The receptionist was extremely friendly and efficient checking me in (unfortunately I don’t remember her name).||All reception, lifts and corridors were immaculate and had a nice fresh smell. ||I stayed in room 401. My first impression was WOW! The room was extremely modern, great lighting, spotlessly clean and had everything I needed. It was spacious and relaxing. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept without disturbance all night. Probably the best nights sleep I have had in months.||The bathroom was a little bit grubby in corners, but this hadn’t put me off as everything else was shining and pretty much looked brand new. The shower was the best Ive ever had in a hotel. A proper rainfall shower! Just what I needed to start the day.||I will be using this hotel in future every time I stay in Leeds. Great value for money. Its quite a lot cheaper than these expensive hotels in Leeds but the rooms seem to be alot better quality than these expensive hotels.||Please keep doing your doing!

Me and my husband stayed here to go to the Royal Armouries. It was in the perfect location! The staff were all lovely. The room was adequate, apart from a questionable stain on the carpet by the window and the light in the hallways that came in under the door and didn't go off all night, and the insanely loud heating it was nice. We would stay again. The breakfast was not great, because the selection was limited (my husband is vegetarian and the hot breakfast didn't have veggie options). However the dinner menu was brilliant. The cafe/bar was lovely, it was quiet and comfortable. We will be returning

Amazing hotel . Very clean and tidy. Fab location for visiting the armouries. Staff very friendly and helpful. Milton was brilliant, an absolute star , nothing was to much trouble from him. The room was lovely and everything in it that we needed. We had tea in the hotel and the food was lovely and reasonable . The free breakfast in the morning was so good to, amazing choice and fab coffee. We enjoyed it that much, we've already booked another visit in August.

This hotel is average. The location is a little far from the city, but in a nice position in the historic docks. Rooms are the usual standard, air con works ok but it’s an older system and takes a while to warm the room. The beds are a little firmer than other Holiday Inn Express hotels I’ve stayed in, and the windows aren’t very thick at keeping the cold outside from coming in.

Breakfast is on par with expectations, staff are well trained and friendly.

Great staff and good food.|Room was good and bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom very snug with the door having two functions. One to get into bathroom and then it doubled up so that one could go to the toilet whilst someone was showering.|Only downside was the noise created by a party of visitors exiting the hotel between 6 and 7am. Very loud voices and doors slamming.|Had both breakfast and dinner in hotel, both excellent and waiting staff were keen to ensure we were satisfied.|Addie on reception was particularly nice and very helpful.

We recently stayed at Holiday Inn with friends visiting from Australia, and we had a great experience! I stayed in this hotel from 26December -28 December and was really blown ESPECIALLY by the variety of option on the breakfast buffet; that was key for as l had stayed in other notable hotels were the buffet breakfast was basic. |Furthermore my room 425 was much quieter as it was away from the lift as l had requested a room away from the lift. Room was alright for just one person ;NEXT TIME I STAY THERE AGAIN L WILL COME WITH MY FAMILY as this time l was on work schedule. Access to buses was just 10minutes walk. |Lastly, kudos to all staff from reception who helped with breakfast on 27th and 28 December that was a great team effort. Keep it up. I have worked in the hospitality industry especially hotels in three different continentals America, Africa and UK so l know what am writing about when l see a teamwork in place. I will definitely stay in the hotel once again in the future.

Stayed here for a night whilst visiting Leeds.||We arrived a couple of hours before check in time but Lauren on reception was great and managed to sort us a room early.||Room was clean and spacious. ||Breakfast in the morning was good and added bonus that it was included in the price. ||Hotel is about a 15-20 minutes stroll to the city centre or about £7 in an Uber.||There's a big multi storey car park next to the hotel. You can either get discount at hotel reception or book through the Your Parking Space app which also gives you a good price.||Overall very happy with the hotel. Good value and would stay here again.
