We had an excellent one night stay. All the staff were very friendly, from the receptionists to the cleaning staff.

Very good facilities, better than similar hotels of other brands.

This hotel is situated in a quiet area, so we had a very good night's sleep. Highly recommend it and will stay again if we are in this area.

First time in this hotel and we were concerned it was too cheap and cheerful. We normally book the Holiday Inn west in Peterborough but it was fully booked. I have to say we were really impressed. Breakfast was basic but plentiful. I never saw any GF options but I never asked. Hot and Cold food was available. I honestly couldn’t fault it. Ample parking. It does appear some work is happening in the hotel as we saw a rather full skip and some people had stated the contractors had been loud very early in the morning but we had no issues at all. |My one complaint was people allowed their doors to slam shut maybe fit soft closing . There is a bar at reception. A harvester pub next door. Easy access A1

Quiet stay. Free parking. WiFi was average. Breakfast was excellent (6.30-10 at the weekends!) Room was large but pillow was a bit like a brick. No lift to first floor unfortunately

This has got to be the worst IHG hotel I have ever stayed in.

There is a pervasive stale smell in all the common areas, particularly the upstairs corridors, due to lack of ventilation.

The bed was the worst I've had the misfortune to sleep on since my university days 40 years ago.

The breakfast was poor, with no coffee except instant sachets.

The staff do their best, but they don't have a lot to work with.

I will absolutely avoid this hotel in future despite is good location.

To remain in IHG this hotel needs a full refit.

Parking was close to the reception entrance. Check in was quick, staff friendly. The room was a good size, and clean. The area was quiet, so no problem getting to sleep. Breakfast was of a decent standard. The bathroom was fine, shower only, ideally I would have liked a bath but that is the only negative I can think of.

if working away from home not suitable for breakfast as not served until 06:30am very poor choice for a pack up and no hot sandwich / roll to take away.

evening meals are really un appetizing and not nice and certainly not worth the expense you are charged.

saving grace for this hotel is that it is situated next to a harvester restaurant where you can get a decent evening meal

I had a pleasant stay at the Holiday Inn express. I arrived early afternoon and was able to leave my overnight bag,in your secure room.The reception desk helped me to arrange a Taxi into Peterborough. The Staff. Could not be more helpful to me (an elderley solo traveller.) When arriving back My twin room was how I expected it. Clean and comfortable. Well provided with. all the traveller needs.

This Holiday Inn Express hotel is located on the outskirts of Peterbrough. It is over two floors but be warned this hotel has no customer lift, so if you can not carry your bags etc up a flight of stairs best speak with the hotel before your stay. The rooms are the normal Holiday Inn Express standard, clean and not too tired in condition. The included breakfast was served in the seating area near reception. We were in no rush to leave, so we went down around 09:00, which we soon found out to be a mistake. The area is on the small side with not too many tables. The area was quite full. As it was busy, we found we had to wait for food and drink items to be replenished. It was a Sunday so may be different during the week. The food was the normal expected standard. On the plus side you get free parking, which is a change to some locations. All in all it was a fair stay only let down by the breakfast.
