The convenience of simply crossing the street from the airport to this hotel is worth a lot, but maybe not worth as much as they charge for a room, given that everything is very worn and carpets throughout are very shabby, even shredded in places. On the other hand, the hotel restaurant is surprisingly decent. Breakfast is only so-so (buffet service), but having dinner after a long day of flying and then falling into bed was very nice. I actually stayed here three separate nights during one month because of a group tour that started here (one night) and ended here (one night) and also a my arrival night two weeks before the tour. Front-desk staff were pleasant and helpful. Definitely let them call a taxi for you rather than taking the white ones at the airport. |.

We stayed there going to and from our holiday. The place is very clean and although basic, it is comfortable and has what you need for a night or two.||We stayed 2 nights on the way and 1 night o the way back. On our first night I noticed that the staff looked quite miserable and I asked if they wre treated right. The supervisor said that they wre treated well and litened to my comments.||The next night ws very different and the staff looked a lot brighter and I was really pleased. Oh there was 1 man who was extremely helpful and friendly, unfortunatley I didn't get his name. He was not British and spoke with an accent. He was quite tall with a beard.||On our way back I thought they still looked brighter as though they cared.|The bed was comfortable and we both slept really well, the tv worked fine, there was plenty hot water. The room was big enough and not squashed.||They had run out of nearly all the puddings so we had to resort to going to the airport, but to be honest this is not the most important thing when you are only staying a night or 2. They also had run out of earl gray tea. I accept it is a very very busy time of year and it all did what we needed it to do.||We would continue to go there, it is very convenient for the airport.

Hotel is very close to the airport terminal and perfectly positioned for a pre or post flight stay. Helpful and welcoming staff. However, our room was dated and tired. Mould on ceiling in bathroom and stains on carpet. Absolutely not value for money and would not recommend. Customers and staff deserve better in one of the most prominent of the airport hotels.

A good place to stay the night before a flight. The hotel is quiet and comfortable. The rooms are a bit dated, but clean. The lobby and restaurant are recently renovated. Overall, a nice stay, but a bit pricey.

This hotel is a really just across the street from check in at Glasgow Airport. It is an easy 5 minute walk to baggage claim or check in. The lobby and the sleeping rooms have been nicely updated. Great water pressure and shower heads. The upstairs corridors are dated, but you just pass through them. Breakfast was good.

Room was clean and serviceable for our purpose, as I understand for most people on an early morning flight.
However the restaurant was noisy and food was overcooked and the pizza was inedible. The base was like cardboard. When I asked to speak to someone in authority, a female approached me and said that a refund would be credited to my account. A chef walked past and asked if me could help. He explained that they had used a new supplier and he would check the quality of the pizzas.
I had to return an our later to check on my refund as it had not come through and I needed to go to sleep for a 5am call. Eventually I received my refund at Reception!
I definitely would not stay here again if I was requiring a meal.
I hope that the quality of the food improves so that other people do not have the same experience as I had. Not the way I was wanting to start my Hard Earned Holiday!

Great location. Right across from the airport.
Room and service were satisfactory.
Improvement opportunities:
On both my stays (3), the toilet required jiggling to flush.
When I arrived late morning, I had to chase down a server to order something to eat. There was only one person on duty. Poor service given the number of guests, time of day, and price.
At times, there was only 1 person at reception. (Wait time)
The spring on the room door caused it to shut loudly (334) and the noise from the cleaners was continuous from early morning to early afternoon. Poor insulation + maintenance room across the hallway?
I would stay here again, but only when I have heavy luggage to transport.

We have used the Holiday Inn, Glasgow airport on many occasions. This has to be one of the poorest stays I have ever had. Food is nowhere near as good as our previous stays. Breakfast was below average for this hotel. Used to having a good selection, which is why we kept coming back. But this time either due to issues with the suppliers or cuts to the breakfast budget, while still charging premium prices we felt so let down.

When we arrived with our kids and all our luggage, there were no facilities to help us get our bags and medical kit up to our rooms. When we asked we were directed to go to the airport and get a luggage cart. Not a single hotel porterage trolley available in this hotel. (Not the first time we have had this issue). We raised it again with the team at the hotel and were told would have to go over to the airport to get all our stuff up to our rooms. Bad enough when you are able bodied, unacceptable when you have children with additional needs and total lack of support from the reception staff โ€œwe donโ€™t provide a portering serviceโ€ do not mind that, but to have to trail around looking for an airport trolley, when you have multiple bags and medical kit is just not on. The rooms themselves were spotless and the housekeeping team as always seem to be on point. I just feel this hotel has been on a decline in recent years and is nowhere near the level we have come to expect on our stays at the Holiday Inn, Glasgow airport.

Certainly NOT a 10/10 experience on this visit.
