Definitely worth the upgrade to a Premium room. Spacious, comfortable with fridge/minibar, ironing board and iron. Good walk in shower. Beautifully serviced promptly every morning. Staff friendly and polite. Breakfast good. Bed superb. Lovely to have swimming pool (and gym) onsite.

Fantastic hotel overall. The staff were so friendly, efficient and helpful. The breakfast was amazing with lots of choice and I mean lots and was all excellent quality. The lunch and evening food was good and kids eat free if an adult orders a main course. There's free bottles of still and fizzy water by reception. The Pool, Gym and Spa were very good.. only one criticism is that in the standard rooms the bathroom is tiny although functional. It's tricky to squeeze by the bathroom door and the sink when getting into the bathroom. It's just a bad design. Apart from that we had an amazing 4 night stay with our grandsons. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Last visited this hotel over 6 years ago, went back this weekend for a family celebration and not disappointed. Good car park area, open reception area with ultra friendly and helpful staff. Bar area has been modernised, good selection of drinks and bar snacks. Room was small but clean, bathroom had a shower but was too small overall and extractor fan did not work properly. The housekeeping staff were excellent. We only had breakfast in the restaurant but it was clean, a good choice of food and again helpful staff|Close to Ipswich town centre and excellent taxin service provided by Avenue Taxis

Lovely hotel, good swimming pool, changing room is a bit dated and needs a refresher but the pool is still lovely. The food was perfect, the evening meal was good as was the breakfast and to top it off it was all hot. Staff were all lovely, would definitely stay again

Slick and efficient check in. There was a noisy wedding reception, but there was no sound in the bedroom which was spacious with a silly door into the bathroom which required the efforts of a contortionist to enter.|Bar prices are high!|Excellent breakfast, catering for most tastes. The evening restaurant has safe options plus Korean/Asian options.|Pleasant staff everywhere and plenty parking.|BUT staff were unable to provide me with tooth pick! Tut-tut!|Well above average. I am sure that I will use this hotel again in the near future.

Check in was smooth, no issues. The room itself was fine and bed comfy. I got a room with two single beds. No drinking water in the room. I thought that would have been a nice to have as you see in a number of hotels. I think for me the major issue in this hotel is the size of the bathroom. I barely got through. You need to close the door to get behind to the shower and need to open the door shuffle by the toilet bowl to even get out. In no way ideal even for a 12 year old. The sink almost touches the toilet door. Surely they know this problem exists but I assume nothing can really be done to the size except of course they got some sort of sliding doors. The hotel was quiet so that was a plus and breakfast was ok as well. I may try other options when next I'm around in Ipswich

Nice and clean hotel, which we were able to take our dog to (for extra cost) Great swimming pool and jacuzzi for an early morning swim. Didn't eat here so can't comment on food, but menu looked good with lots of vegan items |Negative, The room was hot and aircon didn't work very well, nor the fan they put in room. The touch up paintwork on the painted wall made we anxious!

The hotel is not far from the A12/14 junction, with a large free car park, but unfortunately has a dated look. The reception staff were excellent and gave us a large room at the rear of the hotel, didn’t realise how big the hotel is, it took quite a few minutes to get there. We had hoped to use the pool 0630-2200? and gym , but had arrived too late to use them, so worth checking the closure, last entry was 7.30 pm , 30 minutes prior to closure on the weekend. The room was very spacious with all the standard equipment you would expect. The breakfast has a great selection of hot and cold items with frequent clearing and replacement of food. We ate out in Ipswich, but there is a bar and restaurant available. Overall a good stay at a reasonable rate.
