It's a very nice hotel, albeit a bit pricey. The rooms are very clean and fully equipped, and the staff is very helpful and kind. The restaurant has a complete menu and the buffet breakfast is excellent.
On the downside, the water pressure was not great, and the toilet seat in some rooms doesn't have a lot of space to maneuver, if you're a big/tall person.

Staying away for work for 1-night. Room comfortable, ensuite was small. Went to use the pool but it was very small and very busy, so didn't bother. I was in room 311, which was at the start of the corridor, so later in evening there was an amount of noise outside room with others returning to their rooms. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Got parked in car park close to main entrance. Walked to a nearby pub for dinner. All in all a pleasant stay

The hotel was of the usual high standard of cleaniness and the interior looked smart and inviting. The staff were particularly good where we felt they went above and beyond. The evening receptionist was outstanding. The bar staff were also excellent. All were really polite and very receptive to ensuring we had the most comfortable stay.

1. Breakfast Variety: The breakfast here is fantastic! There are plenty of choices to suit different tastes, making it a great way to start the day.2. Amenities: The hotel features a well-equipped gym and indoor swimming pools, which are perfect for staying active or unwinding after a long day.3. Room Size: The rooms are spacious, offering plenty of room to relax. However, they do have a slightly older decor that might not appeal to everyone.4. Toiletries: A heads-up for future guests: remember to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers, as these are not provided.5. Location Considerations: If you're not driving, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. It’s a bit isolated, making it less convenient for those relying on public transport.

I’ve been staying here ever couple of weeks or so for over 18 months or so now when on business in the area. Apart from my stay in room 108 (avoid if you want a good kip), I’ve never had an issue.

Staff at brilliant, always friendly and helpful and very quick to recognise that you’re an IHG member if you are. Food is good, no nonsense menu and really good service. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. I can’t fault it.

I stayed with my 2 teenage children on a dinner,b and b package for 2 nights. We have stayed on this package at other Holiday Inn locations and always found it high quality and good value. My daughter is recovering from an eating disorder and we are trying to get her used to eating out again. To reassure her she needs to look at the menu in advance and choose her meal. We did this using the menu on the website in advance of staying. When we arrived I checked arrangements with reception and was told we could choose any 3 courses from the full menu. When we went to eat on the first evening we were then told that it was only a (vastly)reduced menu which contained nine of the dishes my daughter had chosen. She eventually decided on amain course from the reduced menu only to be told that it wasn’t available. This caused a great deal of upset and resulted in her eating virtually nothing. The food in general was poor quality and felt like a school meal. All of this resulted in us being unable to eat at the hotel on the second night and we ended up having to go into Norwich centre which caused additional expense and inconvenience. While the staff were good enough to refund the dinner element of the total bill, we still left feeling dissatisfied with the overall experience. At no time was it made clear that the full menu wouldn’t be available - I really think that this needs to be made clear before people book. If we had known that this was the case then we certainly wouldn’t have booked the inclusive package and would have stayed somewhere closer to the city centre - pretty underwhelmed it all

We had a 2 night pre Christmas break here in one of the premium rooms. The exterior is very 70’s & quite tired looking as were some corridor areas. However reception & the bar/dining area was modern, fresh & welcoming. We were able to check in early at no additional cost and the member of staff on reception was extremely pleasant. |The premium room came with complimentary soft drinks & snacks|(which were replenished) a coffee maker & bathrobes. The room seem quite small for a premium & there was only one armchair. It would have been hard to fit another in. That said the room was well decorated, with a comfortable bed. The en-suite was compact but had a very good shower. |Unfortunately our coffee maker didn’t work & it wasn’t until the next day we had this replaced. We appreciated the complimentary water & soft drinks though. |The leisure facilities are good and we enjoyed using the pool during our stay. Reception were able to do priority order taxis, which proved an excellent way to get in/out of the city centre & so avoid crowded roads & trying to park. |We were particularly impressed by the breakfast offering. We asked for poached eggs, which were cooked to perfection. As well as the usual ‘full English’ there was a comprehensive continental selection (far better than you see at most hotels) with a range of cold meats, cheeses, boiled eggs and breads. There was also a separate gluten free station, various fresh & tinned fruits plus pastries & cereals . Really something for everyone. One thing that I’d suggest is the addition of another coffee machine. With just one machine queues can soon form. |We also ate in the bar on one evening but we’re not so impressed with this experience. It was pretty quiet in there but we waited quite a long time to get our food - at least 30 minutes I should say. Though the food (when it eventually arrived) was nice we felt it was expensive for what we got - likewise bar prices seemed high. |Throughout our stay we found the staff very friendly & welcoming - especially at breakfast service. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay at the Holiday Inn and would stay again if we were in Norwich.

We needed a hotel near the hospital as my husband was having an operation.

We had an accessible room which was standard no extras.

Bed was rather soft for our liking but ok for a couple of nights.

Lots of electric sockets which was good.

No seating in the bathroom to use at the sink, had to wheel in chair from room. Also the drain was very noisy made a sound like a frog.

Wanted to use the health club but it was inaccessible for my husband down two flights of stairs and more up into the pool area.

The staff were very good though especially Sheree who sorted this booking for me.

Bar area too cold and was not a very cosy area. Too much noise from the restaurant.
