Great place, friendly and very helpful staff, we were looked after very well. Food was good, and fresh and the prices were not too bad. Rooms are nice, clean, bright and modern. Leisure facilities adequate, sauna clean and the pool was warm. |Breakfast choices were really good, my daughter loved making her own pancked with the machine. Although it was soo very busy staff did all they could to offer solutions. There's a good selection of drinks and fresh fruit.

I stay regularly at Holiday Inn Peterborough West, it is in my top 3 HI hotels and probably is the best which is saying something! .

What makes this hotel great is the staff. Always exceptional customer service. You feel special, welcomed and valued. The team know who you are and what you like, and what matters to you as a customer. Polite, professional and responsive.

I would like to recognise Charlie from the reception team and the awesome restaurant/bar hospitality team, in particular Henry, Ethan (who is such a credit to you - outstanding service), Alex, Alek, even cheeky chappy Jack who always puts a smile on my face!

Came here for a one night stay and an event the next day. Staff have been so lovely and caring for everyone. Lovely food for breakfast, really impressed with the different foods that are on offer, hot and cold. We had a double room and a single room, the beds were really comfy and the shower was good. Overall, such a nice stay, and thank you so much to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

I recently enjoyed a two-night stay combining work and leisure at this hotel, and it was a delightful experience. The value for money was excellent, with exceptional customer service and immaculately clean rooms. ( bit outdated though)

The only drawback I encountered was the limited spa access for children. Despite the spa's advertised opening hours until 9 or 10 pm, children are only allowed from 9 am to 6 pm. I was informed that this restriction is due to public memberships and the desire to provide quiet time for adult guests.

While I understand the need for balance, I believe hotel guests should be given priority, especially considering the spa's small size. Limiting public access could enhance the experience for staying guests.

Despite this minor issue, everything else about my stay was worthy of a 5-star rating. The hotel's commitment to quality service and cleanliness was evident throughout my visit.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The check-in process was seamless, and the warm welcome set the tone for a fantastic experience.

The room was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail, from the high-quality linens to the thoughtful amenities, truly made it feel like a home away from home.

What stood out the most was the impeccable service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to ensuring I had a memorable stay.

Overall, this hotel exceeded all my expectations. I would not hesitate to return and will certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. Thank you for a relaxing experience!

Always lovely to stay at Holiday Inn Peterborough. This time I enjoyed Room 218. A SuperKing Bed, along with a complimentary mini bar. I was welcomed to the hotel with a lovely smile, and my status benefits provided. Room upgraded, as well as welcome amenity of complimentary breakfast.

Breakfast is superb here, with soft poached eggs included in the buffet - if only they had smoked salmon too! The hot buffet is so well presented it is a credit to the hotel. I noticed an additional coffee machine, which helps to alleviate waiting lines too, so the investment is a good one.

One thing I really love about this hotel is the genuine friendliness of all of the staff who work here. They are simply lovely, and do everything they can to make sure that the guest has a wonderful stay.

A word of caution for negative things that I see developing though. Very sad sign to learn of a new £15 night charge for car parking. It just doesn't sit well for me as it is being levied at an out of town hotel that has no public transport links (not even a bus service passes by) so the GM needs to heed some advice here.. your regular guests will not appreciate the charge. I have also noticed Room Service now mentions a 12.5% gratuity (This is the UK not the USA) as well as a £5 tray charge, and finally, a towel rental fee of £2 per towel at the swimming pool if you do not use a towel from your guest room. Feels like the GM has become fixated on ancillary revenue streams all of a sudden. The GM would do well to remember that this hotel is in a sleepy part of Peterborough and not in some busy metropolis where money is plentiful.

The whole staff really contributed to a successful event and very pleasant stay. Emma liaised in a friendly, efficient and positive way throughout our event. Muhammed really deserves a huge thank you for his moving dozens of tables in Buckingham and engaging the experience of so many players who commented on this improvement. Charlie leads a brilliant reception team, and Macie was very responsive, too. Charlie is a wonderful welcome to the hotel, she is friendly, helpful and really goes the extra mile. She is a stand out employee.

Stayed for only one night but as with all holiday inns the service was fantastic. Staff couldn’t do enough for you, free milk for our toddler, breakfast was fresh, plentiful and just a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Will stay again if in the area. Thank you to the helpful and kind staff!
