Had a family holiday here back in Oct 2023 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Had a wonderful time here and often talked about going back.
There are lots of things to do nearby and have lovely walks around the surrounding woods.
Hot tub cleaned twice a day.
Will definitely be back.

Family of 3 just returned from a fantastic week's stay in the Wildflower lodge. Lodge was modern, clean and well equipped. Everything has been thought of from spare towels and bedding to board games, toys and a Netflix account. We were a little late on arrival but special thanks to the night warden who checked us in and was always a friendly face on site, regularly asking if we needed anything when we saw him. Location is fantastic for exploring York and surrounding areas. Park is very quiet and best suits anyone looking for a relaxing break in a Beautiful woodland setting. There is even a Tea Room cafe on site, serving food and drinks durning the day. We wouldn't hesitate to book again

We had a fabulous time, myself and three sisters on a girly weekend. Couldnt have asked for a nicer lodge, everything was so clean and modern and the lodge was lovely and warm and welcoming when we arrived. The hot tub was great after a good day out in York and was lovely and clean and tested daily by on site staff. We arrived later than the normal check in time, due to work commitments, and were greeted at the lodge by the warden, who was very informative and who went over a few points with us. A big thank you to him for making us feel really welcome. We will definitely visit again but maybe more of us the next time lol xxxx

Lovely Lodge (Forest Retreat) in a very peaceful woodland setting with wide ranging views over the fields. The Park is located about 15 minutes drive outside York and you can get the 415 bus straight into the city. Dog friendly and great walks in the woods surrounding the park.

I spent a glorious break at Forest Retreat, a magnificent lodge at the Hollicarrs Holiday Park near York. The lodge overlooked the rolling Yorkshire countryside and the peace and beauty were overwhelming. The lodge itself was warm, spacious and clean, with a great hot tub. The staff were friendly and helpful, making this a very special stay, the perfect antidote the the stresses and strains of modern life. Highly recommended.

So far we stayed in wildflower lodge and forest retreat. Both lodges were amazing! Attention to detail is fantastic. Set in acres of beautiful woodland it’s so relaxing to sit and watch the wildlife or go for a peaceful walk in the well kept woodland grounds. Can’t recommend enough. We have another break booked for October and there will definitely be more. Visit to Olivia’s tearooms is a must serving hot and cold drinks, a selection of homemade cakes and delicious hot/cold food.

Just had a three night stay at Hares Leap lodge. The lodge was fabulous, spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly want for your stay. It was lovely to sit in the hot tub at night, it was so quiet and peaceful and great to see the hares running past. The park is very well maintained with friendly helpful staff. Great for a relaxing quiet break.

Just returned from a break this weekend (Feb 2023) and absolutely loved it. Pure peace, tranquility in idyllic settings and a lodge (Bluebell Lodge in my case) that was immaculate and into which clearly a lot of thought has gone into from the owners. 100% recommend this for a family/couples getaway
