We had a fantastic weekend break at Hollins Farm. We chose this site as it was dog friendly, and we couldn't have asked for anything better. The lodge was fab, with everything we needed and more. Very clean, and very spacious. The bed was really comfortable, ensuring a good nights sleep. Rachael was there to greet us on arrival, and explained everything perfectly. The car park is only a short walk from the lodge. We appreciated the welcome basket which included tea, coffee, jams, eggs etc. The surroundings outside are beautiful, and there was loads of space for the Dog to run around. We also appreciated the enclosed garden. We paid extra to hire the hot tub, and I'm pleased we did. It was lovely to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We also enjoyed the use of the Bluebell pub, which is about a 20-25 minute walk up the bridle path. The locals were lovely and welcoming, and they made a fuss of our Dog from the moment we walked through the door. We had one meal here, and thought the food and drinks were decent. We will definitely be returning to Hollins Farm in the future. Thank you for such a fantastic stay ?

Outstanding site. The lodges are really well set up. All the facilities we needed and more, full and modern kitchen and bathroom. Very comfy bed. Location was lovely, nice and out of the way, yet only a stones throw from the A1. Not that you would know when you're there. Nice pleasant walk to the local pub in the nearby village for dinner in the evening. Communication was excellent throughout with the owners, even some handy instructional videos on whats what,can't fault them, very helpful.

Liked · The luxury lodges are well thought out and have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Our dog Bailey enjoyed the enclosed garden. Rachael the host ensured a smooth check in. The welcome pack which included a pack of eggs was a lovely touch. Lovely walks around the area and a great pub (bluebell Inn) within walking distance across the fields along a bridle path. Would definitely return. Great base for Knaresborough/ Harrogate

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Hollins Farm Holidays. The pods are so cool and very spacious. They are also very well equipped and very clean. We particularly enjoyed the countryside views and the field in which the pods are located as it gave us, the kids and the dog so much space to play and run around in ( a very welcome change from our small city garden!). The walk from the site is also beautiful and peaceful (lots of blackberries already). Thank you Rachael and family for a lovely stay!

I booked a weekend away for my sons 12th birthday. We fancied staying somewhere a little different. Hollins Farm did not disappoint. |Rachael gave us clear directions and even updated us when there were problems on the road nearby, so we could reroute. I mentioned my sons birthday when booking. On arrival a little cake was in the kitchen. My son was over the moon. ||The accommodation was well equipped, clean and to a high standard. The kids loved the bunk beds. The scenery is idyllic and peaceful.||A local village is a five minute drive or easily walked. The local pub recommended by Rachael, is welcoming, family, friendly, and extremely dog, friendly. We only drank there but the food also looked good.||I would definitely recommend this accomodation as a place to stay for a weekend or longer.

A warm, comfy and friendly stay here ….the pods are excellent , all you need and some extra thoughtful touches …we stayed for 3 nights and mentioned our sons birthday ( cake banner and card were waiting when we arrived ) . He loved the funky bunk beds …and all we needed for our two dogs were in the pod …location great fab directions from Rachael …the sunset we watched one afternoon from the deck was super ?

Amazed by the facilities. We stayed for a weekend so peaceful, pure bliss. Note that you need to book taxis well in advance, no takeaway local either. You have full cooking facilities in the lodge. Absolutely loved staying here.

We had a lovely time while staying at Hollins Farm. We arrived after check-in due to our booking at The Forbidden Corner being quite late in the day, but Rachael was fantastic and sent us videos ahead of our arrival with all of the info that we needed to get comfortable immediately. The pod was perfectly spacious enough for the 3 of us (2 adults and 1 child) for the 4 nights that we stayed there. The beds were comfy, the pod was warm, dry, and immaculate, and it was kitted out with everything we needed.||There is so much to do nearby, too, so we will have to return to do all of the extra things that we ran out of time for on this trip! ||We had two fabulous days out in York (only 20 mins from the pod to the park and ride), where we enjoyed the chocolate tour (which was really interesting, amusing, and involved plenty of free samples...), the Jorvik museum (which was so good that we visited it twice!) and a visit to the Teddy bear shop. We did so many other York things besides this; there are too many to write them all!!||We also visited the local caves (about 45 min drive away) and the Leeds Puttstars on the third day, which was another full-on day of fun for all three of us.||If you're looking for a warm, comfortable, clean place to stay with self-catering accommodation, friendly hosts, lovely views, and lots of fun/interesting things to do within a 1hr drive of your accommodation, then Hollins Farm is perfect!
