Four of us booked in for Wednesday lunch. Not busy but imagine this changes in the holiday season. Garden area as well as seating inside. Decent enough pub type food. Not expensive. Pleasant staff. We were here last October when on holiday and we were certainly satisfied enough to return. Can recommend.
Have not tried the accommodation.

Stayed here with wife on 5th/6th April for my birthday during weekend visit to Richmond. Staff were great, a nice pint and a really nice breakfast on the Sunday morning. The room was lovely with a great view across Richmond. We'll definately use this as a base for future trips into North Yorkshire. Thanks to everyone for a lovely stay...Alan & Gail.

Went here with my partner for Sunday lunch what a fantastic experience. The food was all home cooked fresh . The type of food your grandma makes. The staff was very friendly and extremely pleasant. Great price too . The new owners Joanne and Glenn are truly amazing and go the extra mile to welcome and make your experience that extra special. I would without a doubt highly recommend the holly Hill inn .

Beautiful area to visit must have the best view of Richmond from the garden. Staff and locals very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our food.

Really disappointed with the service and the food. We had booked as a group for a light buffet but the food was terrible. All cold picnic food which looked like it had just been picked up from the supermarket and put on a plate, nothing home made. We phoned the week before advising of dietary requirements and nothing was provided for these individuals but they were still charged! Absolutely appalling customer service and food. Such a shame as I had been there the previous year for a meal and it was lovely. Will not be going back.

The food here is a simple menu with an outstanding execution. You need to come here to understand. Great value and although large portions, the quality is on equal par. We will be back often.

Booked in during a family trip away and was incredibly disappointed. All roast dinners were swimming in thick flavourless gravy. The trio of yorkshires were essentially a soup. I’m unsure where they buy the gammon from as it tasted off?

We all played a game of fish for our dinner. I cannot even describe how much gravy was on the plates. The potatoes and yorkshires tasted like they’d been pulled out of a deep fryer?

We then asked for a dessert menu just to see the options, to which the waitress had to hand write it and proceeded to slap it down and walk off….only to never return.

Maybe the chef was off. But I absolutely would not recommend this place for a Sunday roast.
