We had a lovely stay here with wonderful hosts Derek and Lez. Our room was very comfortable, warm, a good size on the ground floor with large ensuite with all you need. Very comfortable beds. Cosy, yet
grand - very different with huge character of Baroque meets Rococo furnishings throughout! Good choice at breakfast which was freshly prepared by Lez and served by Derek with white gloves in their splendid dining room. They even catered for my request of a bacon sandwich on my last morning of a 3 night stay.
Plenty of eating places near by. Recommend La Favourita Italian just a few minutes walk away.
The warm hospitality of both guys really made this a super stay. Would definitely recommend this. Thank you gents for a lovely and memorable stay at Holywell, Loughborough.

Brilliant hosts, amazing décor, and really comfortable bed. Only slight thing was no door on the bathroom only a curtain. The jacuzzi bath was amazing. And the shoufer driven ride back to the wedding venue was brilliant. Really went above and beyond. Thank you ♥️

Very lovely old building and inside decor amazing. Lots to look at. Glad I don’t do the dusting. Our bedroom was lovely with a great comfortable bed. Lez and Derek were both lovely. Had a lovely cooked breakfast with great quality products. Will definately be back when next visiting our daughter.|One fun fact, the chest of drawers with the tv, 4th drawer down, handles wrong way round.

Room given was not the one I paid for, I wanted a premium room with cable TV and double bed. I was given a standed room with no cable TV and all single beds that were a bit on the small side. The private bathroom was out of the room along a corridor past the stairs and was inconvenient if needed during the night as no dressing gowns were provided in this room and I didn't bring mine as the premium room was provided with dressing gowns. No view to speak of and room was on the small side for 3 adults. On the plus side the house was quirky and I loved it and the host was courteous and friendly, it was a short walk to the steam train experience and food cafes and McDonald's.

Stayed one night for a reunion with friends. Really warm welcome and perfect for what I needed. Good value given the standard of the accommodation and the breakfast included. Accommodation has lots of character and was a welcome change from a chain type hotel. Would definitely return when back in Loughborough

Stayed for one night end of August 2024. Google maps took me straight to the car park entrance to the side/rear of the hotel. Plenty of parking, but a bit tight to get into the car park. Wonderfully warm welcome and showed to my room (8). Very comfortable bed but often a little noisy from what I think was the pub to the side. Good night sleep followed by a very tasty breakfast. I normally stay in hotels, but will be happy to stay here again.

What a lovely hotel. Expertly run by Derek & Lez. The decore is beautiful and tastefully done. The room was big with plenty of room and the breakfast was plentiful. Thank you gents for a lovely short break.
