Absolutely tranquil spot , beautifully maintained gardens with seating areas , lovely warm welcome , arrived early not expecting to get the key but as the room was ready we were able to check in . Room was spotless rustic but modern , super comfy bed , little kitchenette with milk coffee all sorts of tea provided. Little tray of snacks provided peanuts biscuits and little chocolates , lovely touch. Fruit bowl and bottled orange juice and water also provided. Extra bonus was the restraunt next door , food was fabulous , we did pop in to book a table as it does require reservations .When we are back in the area we will definitely book again.

Home Farm & Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. The room was spacious with everything we needed, including a kitchen area with kettle, microwave, toaster & a very well supplied fridge! There was a corner sofa, coffee table & TV at one end and a small breakfast table with high stools in the centre and the comfortable king size bed at the other end.|The continental breakfast contained everything we could need, plus lots that we didn’t use. (Cereals, porridge sachets, a loaf of bread, jars of jam, honey & marmalade & biscuits & peanuts). In the fridge were yoghurts, fresh milk, fresh fruit, orange juice & butter as well as a carafe of chilled water. All very well thought out.|The bathroom was lovely and all toiletries were from a sustainable company in refillable containers.|There’s a lovely garden area with table & chairs which, unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to enjoy. |Kerry & Richard were the perfect hosts & nothing was too much trouble. |We will definitely be returning.

Liked: A really nice site for an overnight stop with a motorhome, or even if you wanted to explore the area.
The pitch was flat and the garden area lovely, it would be a great stopover in warmer weather. Kerry was very friendly and we loved seeing the chickens and geese at the bottom of the garden area.

We stayed at Home Farm and Lodge for one night only, but we'd love to return for longer when we have the time. ||Everything you could need was provided in a relatively small space. That didn't mean that it was cramped or uncomfortable! The room was stylishly laid out with a separate, very comfy, seating area. Everything was spotlessly clean! I'm a clean freak and was very happy with the standard! The bed was comfortable, with good quality bedding. The bathroom was spacious with copious hot water. There was also a small, well equipped kitchen area. ||Overall a very comfortable stop.

Having a much needed night away from the kiddies, and Birthday treat from my hubby. We found Home Lodge to be a lovely and peaceful place to relax. With a bar and restaurant right next door, and a nature reserve right across the road. This was the perfect place to just de-stress and relax. The Gardens are lovely, giving it a cozy feel. Our room was clean and well decorated. With everything we needed. Even a Roku TV so we could just log in, relax and catch up. I really liked that the owners have opted for sustainability, with refill soaps, shampoo, recycling and locally sourced items for the breakfast, like fresh bread and milk. The owners were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Offering advice on the local area and giving us suggestions on places to eat. Shame we were only there for one night, but this is definitely a place we will want to visit again.

Another wonderful weekend at this property. The room was quirky, comfortable an clean, the hosts couldn’t be more welcoming. The breakfast kids provided, gluten free, were varied and more than generous. Beautiful gardens to explore, and a bonus of fresh eggs to buy! Will be back!

Liked: Kerry and Richard are fantastic hosts. Communication was brilliant and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Home farm and Lodge is at a great location with everything on your doorstep. And oh my goodness the eggs from Kerry's own chickens are so good! Thank you ever so much for looking after us. We would love to visit again soon. Would absolutely recommend.
