We regularly go on long walks over the hill tops and Honesty box was a delightful surprise when we first discovered it 3 years ago. It was snowing at the time and the little hut was a welcome respite from the cold. Lots of goodies were on sale, including energy bars, biscuits fresh eggs and tea and coffee. We were last there over the bank holiday and sat outside in the sunshine. Highly recommended! Gareth and Lisa

This is actually Old Chamber Camping too. If you like to go rural with your camping experience, this is where you want to be!! I'll let you find out what I mean. Outstanding views so totally worth the steep climb. There's a 40 to 60 minute walk to Stoodley Pike which is the highest point with some even more spectacular views. A good 5 mile walk there and back.

A very welcome oasis after a long walk. Brilliant place to stop off for a hot drink or ice cream. Sometimes there are cakes and free range eggs to buy.
Just go in the hut, put your money in the 'honesty box' and make yourself a hot drink and shelter from the rain.

It's always a little treat to call in at The Honesty Box, and to make yourself a tea/coffee or to pick an ice cream tub to have as a reward for walking there. A lovely view over Hebden Bridge just a step away. Have coins at the ready!

Brilliant. Ann does an amazing job. It's such a wonderful thing to trust people in the community to be honest. We'll worth a stop off in summer for for an ice cream or winter for a nice hot drink.

It's a kind of shed, and there are eggs from local farms, and they trust you to put the money in the box. Love it. Trust/local produce/not worried about what the shareholders might think.

A good place to stop to eat a packed lunch while out walking at this time of year. No services at present although the truck will be open on Christmas Day.

A great idea, and all best for long term success with the Old Chamber campsite next door.
