I regret to say that my experience with this host was extremely disappointing. They cancelled my reservation not once, but twice, with little explanation and poor communication. It was clear from our interactions that the cancellations were driven by prejudice rather than any legitimate issue.

This kind of behavior is unacceptable and goes against the principles of fairness and respect that should be the foundation of any hospitality service. I would strongly advise others to avoid booking with this host unless you want to risk having your plans upended without reason.

A wonderfully peaceful place to stay with great walks nearby. i have stayed a few times in both the farmhouse and Honeysuckle cottage and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Sally's breakfasts are a great start to the day. The bedrooms are very clean and bright and the beds comfortable. What more is needed?! Highly recommended accommodation at a reasonable price.

Sally's place was charming and perfect. The home is a lovely old farm house that Sally has lovingly renovated, taking care with every detail. There are some magnificent pieces of antique furniture in the hallway and dining room.

I was not expecting breakfast, but was treated to a "Full English" with jams, breads, cereals, everything I could have wanted or needed. As there were no other guests at the time, I felt like a Princess being served at the exquisite, long dining table while beautiful pheasants wandered around outside in the garden. Sally was fascinating to talk to and we found we had a lot in common.

There is a really wonderful 17th century pub just a few steps away called The George and Dragon, it is quintessentially English with fireplaces, welcoming service and delicious food. So between breakfast and dinner, I left fat and happy 🙂 I even popped down to the local church which was having a Snowdrop Sunday festival.

It is clearly obvious that Sally loves being an Airbnb host.... which is why she does such a wonderful job taking care of her guests. If you are in the area, this is definitely the best place to stay. Thank you Sally for making my experience so unique and pleasant.

I can only offer complimentary words to describe your accommodation both in the Barn(3 Years +) and at the farmhouse (2 Years +) and the timescales involved suggests that I am happy with both buildings accommodation.
The fact that you are very flexible with bookings, and the rooms are always to a high standard of cleanliness is a major factor in my decision to stay anywhere.
The peace and tranquillity of the location is very welcome after a hectic and pressurised work schedule and is another reason in choosing long term accommodation at your premises.

Really nice owner and an old but nice b&b really nice beds and a very cozy place! I'd recommend staying here if you are in the area. Also there is a really nice restaurant across the street called the George and Dragon. It has really nice staff and good food👍
