This was our 6th stay with Simon over a period of 17 years. We have also taken friends in the past with us. Both bedrooms are high quality B&B accommodation and the breakfast is better than any hotel you will stay in. The full English with local produce will set you up for the day. Simon also has fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts and goes the extra mile to cater for my wife who is gluten free. If you are a National Trust member Honiton Cottage could not be better located. Kent has so many sites to visit and you are right in the middle of them all. The cottage is surrounded by apple orchards and Brenchley with Matfield sit in the heart of the Weald of Kent. Stunning views and you are surrounded by oast houses and beautiful cottages. England at its most picturesque, you will feel time has stood still. Simon is a wonderful host and his hospitality will add to your stay in this picture postcard 16th century cottage. My wife and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

We have just had a most enjoyable stay at Honoton Cottage. The cottage is beautiful and immaculately clean. Much thought has gone into the comfort of guests. We stayed in the Willowpit room which was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The surroundings are so pretty and peaceful. The breakfast was first class and Simon was the perfect host. We would certainly not hesitate to stay again.

This was our first return visit to this beautiful 16th century cottage since the pandemic, and we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay last week as much as we did the first time round. We were welcomed with tea & biscuits by Simon and each morning he produced a delicious cooked-to-order breakfast. |Our bedroom (The Furnace Room) was very comfortable and had a large bed with a generous sized en-suite bathroom. Simon's attention to detail was second to none and we will certainly recommend Hononton Cottage to family/friends who maybe planning to visit Kent.|

We came across this beautiful bed and breakfast whilst searching for somewhere to stay when attending a family christening in the village of Brenchley. The Willowpit bedroom on the ground floor was a haven of peace and serenity with windows looking out into the pretty wild flower garden and pond, framed with rustic fencing and alive with the sounds of the birds and bees enjoying the abundance of nature! Inside our room was a huge bed, so inviting to sink into for great nights sleep after the busy-ness of our celebrations. Tea and coffee, fresh fruit, biscuits and chocolates on the guest tray and everything you could possibly need for a worry free visit in both the bedroom and bathroom - even a spare toothbrush should you forget your own! Breakfast was beautifully presented and very tasty with locally sourced ingredients, fabulous home made jams and marmalades and all served by super friendly and welcoming hosts! We left feeling full up on fresh food, fresh air and fully relaxed, thank you so much Simon and Sandie for allowing us to share your perfect corner on planet earth, we will be back! Oh, and thank you so much for the homemade lemon marmalade - I know how good that is going to be!
