Absolutely fantastic service, lovely food, no pre booking for afternoon tea which is rare and very appreciated. We had a wonderful selection of sandwiches, scones and cake at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be back. The staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful, from when I phoned for information to when we left after eating... couldn't ask for more.

Really a great find, recommended by a friend & they were really on the ball.
Excellent little cafe that's tucked away in the centre of Holt, but us well worth seeking out.
Really helpful friendly service with a lovely selection of snacks & meals from their comprehensive menu. The coffee is really first class along with a nice selection of soft drinks.

It's a venue I shall be certainly returning to when I'm back in Holt.

We had the full Nelson breakfast. Massive portions and good quality ingredients. Excellent service from the young lady serving us. On the way out we bought some fruit scones for later which were massive. We’ll be returning again at some point in the future for another great breakfast

Probably expected more given the high stars from other reviews but it's basic cafe style food that didn't seem quality produce. The coffees weren't very good to the level that neither were drank, the cappuccino was a latte with a tiny bit of milk foam on and the latte was weak and very little syrup in. Maybe someone was training or it was too busy for the amount of staff on as the wait to give your order and for the drinks was lengthy, either way it was a popular place and the staff were friendly.

My wife and I had the most delicious lunch today in Horatio's. The lady who served us was absolutely delightful. The atmosphere was lovely, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
It was very busy and all of the food we saw being delivered to other tables looked very good. Food envy 😋
The cakes and scones on sale looked wonderful. These have to be tried during another visit but then breakfast looked tempting too....

It's a great quirky cafe in the middle of Holt. Extremely busy when we called in..
Food was extremely was good and not ridiculously priced.
We had three mains, one gaint breakfast and the Chilli loaded fries. The Chilli lacked heat but still very nice.

We arrived on a Sunday morning with a large family group, for breakfast. It was a bit of a last minute decision on our part, but they couldn't have been more accommodating! Frankly excellent service, generous portions and no waiting around; everything arrived well cooked and presented nicely. Premises (including toilets) all spotless, too. Superb! 💪

Went to this nice traditional quirky cafe for a breakfast and had a half Nelson English breakfast, food was absolutely on point with the best black pudding I’ve ever had. Lovely friendly staff and a nice environment. Well worth a visit. Left with a full belly and a happy face ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
