Was a quick stay, I booked parking for arrival but someone had taken my space which was a bit of a pain waiting as there were no spaces left. Room was big and comfortable, the doors aren’t sound insulated so guests arriving at night made it a bit noisy. L’Occitane products in the bathroom were nice.
Breakfast was lovely, the waitress was lovely and friendly and the cooked breakfast top notch.

We had a brilliant stay. We were in a junior suite and had the best time. This was our second stay at the Exeter branch. ||The staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble, from extra hangers to booking cabs! ||As well as a wonderful suite, the staff made our stay. Front of house Elise, India and Tobey all lovely. bar staff were friendly and made fabulous cocktails. Met a couple of housekeeping staff who had a cheerey good morning. |Dhillon you are a gem, teaching my husband to make the perfect espresso martini for his mother in law for Christmas! |Thank you, it’s those personal touches that will have us returning. ||I love the pool, nice to have a winter swim ||Improvement in the restaurant (2022 was dire), things are looking up in the restaurant. |||Booked to return next year

Toby was friendly and helpful with check in and my delux room on the 2nd floor was lovely. Huge comfy bed and super bathroom with bath and shower. Robes are supplied. |We pre booked parking at £20 which was very convenient. There is a car park next door but this is not much cheaper. |Dinner in the bistro was nice. Our server was friendly and attentive.|We didn’t have breakfast as we had an early start. |A lovely stay.

Amazing experience in a beautiful historical building. Megan and Jake provided efficient and friendly service, making our stay even more enjoyable. The restaurant’s breathtaking design is matched by its top-notch cuisine. Our room was pure luxury, with an equally impressive bathroom, and the spa treatments were truly exceptional. I'm staying here for business travel, and the staff have been phenomenal. A special mention for Jake (restaurant) and India (reception), they are a true credit to your brand and have gone above and beyond to give exceptional customer service. I'd happily return for a personal visit. |The hotel is premium and my room was very clean, comfortable, well appointed and, with all expected amenities. Very highly recommended.

I stayed in the Exeter hotel recently - what a stunning building. Lovely big room and comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast, but disappointing and overpriced super. The staff were really friendly and helpful, overall very nice, but would go elsewhere for supper.

An average hotel close to the centre of Exeter. When I got there, two of the amenities advertised, parking and the pool, were unavailable (there is no pool until March). Traffic noise audible in most of the rooms and the interior is dated. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Would not use again

After a five and a half hour journey to Exeter I was particularly looking forward to relaxing in the Hotel Bar and perhaps dinner at the hotel.||Sadly this was totally ruined by the hotel hosting a Christmas Party for a local software company.||The behaviour of which was not particularly becoming of a four star hotel, the language totally unacceptable. ||Whilst the use of the F word is common place these days and maybe expected the use of stronger more offensive words isn’t.||Dog friendly Bedroom and facilities were super and couldn’t fault the attention of the very helpful staff member who changed the bedroom configuration. ||I had booked a twin room and this was overlooked, no apology from reception just a dismissive I’ll send someone up!||Slightly disappointing experience. Previous stays at Hotel du Vin in other cities have been positive.
