Booked through Hotels.com. Good price, good location (for our visit). Basic amenities in room but clean. Quite a firm mattress which I actually liked but my husband did not sleep well. Quite echoey in hallways with other guests talking late at night but overall quite quiet. Breakfast was fine and parking was free on site (give registration into reception)

The hotel in general was pretty abysmal, it was very basic, the bed was made in a very strange way, the bottom sheet tucked around mattress topper, was told this is how it's done !!!! Not impressed, to say the least, dust under the bed and the bathroom has a step, not good for anyone with mobility problems, the staff very helpful but by no means professionally dressed. Will.not stay here again the bar/dining area not much better than a service station..bad smell in bathroom no disrespect but maybe a workman's place to stay, white van's galore in car park.

Cannot fault this Ibis. Small room but well equipped, nice bed and great shower in the small (one person at a time) bathroom. No overnight noise despite the car park being busy (far too many people taking up 2 spaces, ibis should ask those guests to move their cars)
Excellent value and nicely welcomed upon check in.
Only criticism, what is the point of pre checking in on the website if the hotel reception advises it does not get that information from the online system
Overall, good value, good service. I recommend you stay here

Where do I start, upon my arrival to my room I found the cleaners wet cloth left on the side, no bin in my room so had to collect all my rubbish in a bag from local supermarket, the spare pillow provided had no pillow case so could not be used, then when I went into the shower I found the previous occupants shaving razor resting on top of soap dispenser. Then to top it off I had to endure a night on the most uncomfortable bed I think I've ever slept on. On a plus note the staff are very pleasant and helpful.

Easy to get to and staff were very friendly and helpful upon arrival. You must get your car registered to park there or it might get clamped. This is free and only takes a couple of minutes when you check in. The room was clean and tidy and nicely arranged. The bathroom is actually a self-contained 'pod' and works very well, only a shower. But easy access as it is sloped not stepped. The only negative were the pillows- very little give in them so did not sleep that well. Will bring my own pillow next time. Will definitely use again and would recommend.

Beautifully clean room with everything you might need - except possibly an extra pillow or blanket (though I suspect these would be available if requested). Bathroom very clean too. Breakfast buffet was plentiful, varied and well cooked. Even the scrambled eggs were nice - we enjoyed everything we tried. We will definitely go here again if in the area.

Check in was quick and efficient. Staff are very friendly, helpful and willing to help with a smile. The rooms are small but adequate. There is iron in the the room but there is an ironing room on the 4th floor. The shower/wc pod are strange but practical. Shower is nice and hot and powerful. According the the room facilities brochure, you use the onscreen service to book a wake up call.this must be in some hotels from the chain, in this one you have to ring to book it. Check out time is very good, they allow you up to midday to check out. Housekeeping are early workers so hang a DND sign on the door if you are sleeping in. The food is quite good actually. Dinner was a la carte. We opted for the half board stay so dinner was a 2 course meal with a drink if your choice, breakfast was buffet with a choice of continental or full English. All in all a good experience and will definately use them again.
