From the moment we arrived at Hotel Indigo Exeter, we were impressed by the stylish, boutique charm and the warm, welcoming staff. Located right in the heart of the city. Our room was beautifully designed with thoughtful touches inspired by the local history a perfect mix of character and luxury. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom was spotless with a fantastic rainfall shower, and we even had views of the Cathedral from our window. Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in the UK. If you’re looking for a stylish and relaxing base in Exeter with exceptional service and facilities, Hotel Indigo is the place to stay. We’ll definitely be back!

I stayed at the hotel Indigo in Exeter.

It was a arrange stay on my behalf and I choose I certain day.May the 11th.

I had a set amount to use and I sent an email explaining what I was looking for.

This was a spa and overnight stay, arrange by Michel the reservation manager. He arranged a suite for myself.

When I arrived I was informed the accommodation wasn't ready, but Ameria offered myself a drink , I understand as weekends in the hospitality industry are busy.

The suite was wonderful with views across the city with a fantastic Exeter views. The room was a little dusty but everything else clean.

I asked to dine in my room as I am solo traveller.

Unfortunately my evening meal choices were very limited, due to lack of staff, however Lucy gave expectatioal service. and couldn't of been more helpful.

I had the chicken liver pate, I found this rather tasteless, followed by a steak and cheese and biscuits. The presentation was the best and the steak was not as hot as I liked.

I call and spoke to Lucy who gave myself an alternative.

I don't want to mention the breakfast service.

However I like to give recommendation to Amira and Lucy who made my stay and went the extra mile on customer service.

This hotel ought to be amazing. The location is perfect, the vibe fab, and the rooms really well appointed - clean, well furnished, great blackout curtains, and nice and quiet.

Two problems. Roof bar was shut. No idea why.

And breakfast was a shambles. Gave up and left 30 minutes after sitting down and not having so much as a coffee. The buffet had no plates or glasses for juice - I eventually used a milk jug for some orange juice as we left. Hot food orders that I saw being delivered were wrong and late.

Why hotels do this is a mystery. It was a busy weekend - uni open day - but that is entirely predictable and known well in advance. Absolutely ruined our experience and now have to launch into a battle to get a refund for breakfasts we could never have had.

Well done for saving £50 on casual labour costs. Really not a great way to save money.

This place could and should be amazing. But sadly ruined by a very poor start to our day.

Brilliantly situated hotel, kind and friendly staff. Delightful room, beautifully decorated and restful with a stunning balcony. Very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. ||So why not the five stars? ||Well, there was a large private graduation party/disco on the 8th floor and it was incredibly noisy. ||We were on the 7th floor and the noise was intense until late. We’re laid back folk but it was a bit much when we were having a relaxing break and had paid a premium for the room. So we did what any sensible people would do and went up and joined the private party. We had a lovely sashay around, unchallenged, a decent dance (we took no food or drink from the party, we’re not complete heathens) and enjoyed being part of the event, even though we weren’t strictly speaking on the guest list. It was marvellous. Until we wanted to sleep, and then it wasn’t. Reception were gorgeously helpful and truly lovely and the party ended on time as scheduled at 11pm. But, it’s not ideal. ||This hotel is lovely, we’ve stayed several times and would go back but be mindful if you’re staying on the 6th or 7th floor of private events on the top floor.

We liked it very much! Clean, crispy bed, interesting interior, everything you need in the room, even an iron. We were very happy!
The only thing I didn't like was that there was no information that children were not allowed in the spa and my son and I were a little upset when we found out about it at the hotel.
Also, when I asked where the best view was, they didn't say that they had a great roof terrace and we never went there... But you go for us😅
In general, we had a very good experience, friendly staff and if it was a little closer to us, we would have rested there regularly! Definitely recommend!!!

I had booked a room for 4 people, me, my husband and my 2 kids. We turned up and there were no beds for the kids, no remote control, noisy air con that’s impossible to control. We waited an hour for two beds to be delivered (one of which didn’t have any springs). Although the staff that did help with the beds were lovely. We were roomed right above a party, that went on until 11 and prevented the kids front sleeping. At breakfast there was no coffee, bowls or cups. I asked for more melon to be put on the buffet and I was simply told that ‘there was enough there’ by the serving lady. . However, the staff were very friendly and tried their best, the food that we had ordered was out very quickly and was quite delicious. The room was extremely clean and well lit, bath was lovely and big, and the area it was in was very nice. The decor in the hotel was also nice and the beds are comfy.

nothing overly special, but absolutely nothing wrong, and all the basics were perfect. Our view was just of other roofs, but we did not book a specific view. The room was spacious, clean and premium. Bathroom was much the same. Bed very comfortable.
If anything could be improved the TV could be a little larger, but it was perfectly serviceable.
We did not have breakfast so cannot comment.
