Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Arrived and had coffee in the drawing room which was great, very comfortable and overlooking the sea. ||We spent the afternoon/ evening here at our friend’s wedding reception - the food was great, the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The location is superb. The hotel was decorated beautifully for the festive period. ||The room was a nice size with a big bed. Breakfast was relaxing, delicious and was table service. ||I thought it was such a nice touch to have a Xmas wreath on every bedroom door. Miramar Hotel did us proud. I’d love to come back sometime.

Excellent hotel for a Christmas party of around 50 people. Room was fine, food was nice, but not much of it, plated up, and no veg served separately, and no tea or coffee included. Could have been because it was a Christmas party package. The disco was good (with mostly music we supplied) but DJ did not talk at all the whole evening. Been a couple of times for these parties, very nice.

Went to this lovely old hotel for a Xmas dinner dance. Our room was large but very tired. However it was warm and cosy with a very comfortable bed. The staff at the hotel are brilliant. The DJ we thought was terrible! Didn't say a word all night ..not even goodbye. Just switched everything off! Breakfast was rather chaotic and not brilliant but again staff lovely. This hotel has amazing views so in the summer it must be outstanding.

For the last few years our group of friends has celebrated Christmas with a party night and overnight stay. It's a real treat, and this year didn't disappoint. Rooms are lovely and we had a great sea view. Brian the events manager and the whole Miramar team - waiting staff, bar staff, DJ, housekeeping, chefs and everyone behind the scenes work so hard to make this hotel really great. It's traditional but not dated or old fashioned and hopefully we'll be back next year.

We stayed for three nights at the Miramar and from the moment we arrived we were treated with courtesy and friendliness. Nothing was too much trouble, including storing medication in the hotel fridge. My room was spacious with a lovely sea view, immaculate and very well equipped, including an electric heater (which I didn’t need - rooms were toasty!). Everything we ate was beautifully cooked and I liked the fact that staff remembered my preferences - that’s real old-fashioned good service! Throughly enjoyed the stay and the hotel’s situation is superb. It’s a short downhill walk into the town centre or on to the beach.

Had a anniversary afternoon tea at the Miramar Hotel in Bournemouth Dorset UK
Staff very friendly and helpful food exceptional like going back in time ambiance super we had surprise guests turn up travelling for 3 hours and the Hotel catered for them setting up an additional table and extra food.
Have been to this Hotel on several occasions and can't fault it. Prices are fair for what you get
Recommended Hotel whether to stay as a guest or dine out . 5***

I booked a viewing with this hotel to discuss potentially booking my wedding here. I called to cancel, just simply due to budget and I had an extremely rude lady pick up the phone. I mean, if you can’t give a basic good customer service over the phone with your tone and attitude, I don’t see how the hotel would have provided great service on the night of the wedding!

The Miramar always seem to go the extra mile over Christmas. The food is generally excellent, the staff and reception welcoming. Inevitably it appeals to an older clientele. Some of the bedrooms need some updating. Very good parking facilities and well placed dining room with lovely sea views.
