Pretty decent for the price, good for short a short stay! Very clean and comfortable, bathroom was tidy with a good shower (hot and good pressure), easy transport links for central London and Wembley stadium. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The only issue we encountered was a lack of power to the plug sockets when we came back late at night (reception was closed at this point) but this only lasted about 15 minutes before they came back on so not sure what happen there
All in all a good stay! Thank you 🙂

Hello,
We stayed from Friday 2 May to Monday 5 May at the hotel 261 (261-263) Uxbridge Road, London W129DS (UK).
If the room was more or less pleasant in the basement, we had only one towel which was never changed over the 3 days(nights), and whose bed was never remade over the 3 days either. There was no shower gel in the dispenser, although we had pointed this out to the manager, but apparently this was the case in all the rooms.
We had 2 rooms in this establishment and the price paid for both was €577.31.
For this price, we were still entitled to a slightly better service than the one we received. This establishment is a complete rip-off.
As for breakfast, the famous English breakfast, it was taken in another establishment, Little Napoli, and consisted of a bowl with two eggs and a bit of bacon and 3 small pieces of sausage, 2 slices of bread and that's it. We were in fact in a pizzeria and nothing to do with the traditional English breakfast.
We've travelled around the UK for years and I think this is the 8th time we've been to London, I don't think I've ever had such a bad breakfast and worse, the drink was chargeable (although our booking did say, breakfast is included) but not the drink which was chargeable. In short, it was a nightmare.
No toast, no butter, no jam, no fruit, no juice, no cereals. None of that, just chilli oil.
In short, sorry, but it just wasn't very good. Avoid both this hotel and this pizzeria.

There is light pollution in the rooms, some of the electricity sockets have clearly been disabled only available on one side of the bed.
Clean, pleasant, staff seem helpful, but always wear earplugs because of noise and eye mask for light pollution in the rooms, I stay regularly because reasonable price, right location, also has parking which is rare only 15% have parking …

Stayed at Hotel261 and overall, it was a decent experience for the price. The room was clean and had the basics I needed for a short stay. It’s a no-frills place, but the location was convenient and the staff were polite. Good option if you're looking for affordable accommodation in the area.

Two houses made into a hotel.
Nearest stations are Shepard's Bush Market (Underground) or Acton Central (Overground), both a 20 minute walk away (in opposite directions!).
Receptionist was helpful when there was no TV remote.
Check in was from 2.30 and I arrived at 3.30 to find a cleaner in my room asking for 5 mins to finish making the bed. After 5 mins of sitting on the stairs, the room proved to be very clean and the bed very comfortable.
Next morning, despite signs saying 'no smoking' everywhere, there was a very strong aroma of 'herbal cigarettes' on the stairs, but I guess that might be outside their control!

Not sure where the pictures were taken of this hotel but it certainly wasn’t the 261 !!! Grotty place the en suite wasn’t much bigger than a broom cupboard- overriding smell of cigarettes - paid beforehand on line then demanded a £20 deposit when we arrived - if it wasn’t for the fact it was Friday night and we arrived late we would never have stayed. You get what you pay for in London unfortunately and this is cheap- out of the way- but grotty grubby and best avoided

A hotel that is not of a high standard. Breakfats in a pizzeria and limited to 2 eggs cooked in a bowl with a little bacon and one or two pieces of sausage if you're lucky. A soluble coffee (mediocre) other drinks are charged. No breakfast buffet (no cereals, fruit, juice, butter or jam). nothing like that) Very poor.

Whilst planning a trip to Shepherd's Bush i discovered the unwelcome news that the hotel I normally use is not operating as a commercial enterprise anymore. Luckily I stumbled upon Hotel 261 which was superb. Clean, tidy and very reasonable. Given that it was the weekend of the Marathon, the Fa Cup semi's and the Benn v Eubank fight I was staggered at how cheap it was.
