My mum visited today and ordered a banana and strawberry smoothie that cost her £5 now paying £5 for a smoothie you would expect it done properly and for it to be good and made with fresh ingredients unfortunately this is not what my mum received when you think of smoothies you think fresh fruit, milk, some ice and maybe a little bit of fresh fruit juice instead the lady behind the counter added some strawberry syrup to a cup with water and some ice and blended it handing my mum a cup of frothy syrup and water which cost her £5 my mum asked the lady if there was any milk in the mixture to be met with a lost clueless face and told “no?” As if the idea of milk in a smoothie is an alien concept this left my mum deflated and frustrated and rightfully feeling ripped off she spent £5 on a banana and strawberry smoothie to be given essentially squash there wasn’t even a banana or milk in sight maybe she is new or you have a new way of making your “smoothies” but to charge £5 for syrup and water is wrong and the response to my mums query was highly inappropriate and unprofessional my mum paid for a product she didn’t receive when she complained she should of been offered a new one or at least offered an explanation and staff should know how to make smoothies and be trained in making the products they’re selling and customer service especially at the prices being charged!

Nice place and clean. Service is really helpful and kind. The coffee was fresh and tasty. Bap was fresh and tasty same as the panini. A vegan option is present too! And the best of all! Doors in toilets are opening outside! And that is the best for health and safety .

Lovely meadow/Park suitable for all abilities, with fun climbing apparatus around the walk. The cafe has a lovely child and dog friendly play area, a lovely sail cover for shade and a cute selection to eat. The staff are super friendly! Please be patient if only one member of staff on, the food was devoured in seconds!

Sometimes there are too many
dogs inside and the owners can be selfish. Outside is a great space if the sun is shining. Houghton council do a good job keeping the park in great condition.

A clean and tidy place just not much going on in here, i thought there would be more information about Houghton hall park or some displays of something but all i could see was a Cafe. They do sell lots of different items and it is a nice little cafe.
