Christmas present for me and my two daughters (13&10) to have a 3.5hr cookery lesson with Laura. We made fresh pasta, pesto and profiteroles. Laura was superb teacher and very patient. She gave us lots of tips to get it right. The food was superb. Made some wonderful memories. Can highly recommend!

I had a wonderful day with Laura, learning how to perfectly create and ice a layered cake to professional standards. She was very welcoming and it was a fun few hours, I definitely feel confident enough to start baking and decorating my own cakes now! It was such a well structured workshop, everything perfectly timed and fun. Laura is a great cookery host with loads of knowledge!

Laura’s sourdough and lunch is a lovely way to spend a morning - learning to make delicious bread in a friendly and fun way, followed by a wonderful lunch made with locally-sourced produce and a chilled glass of Surrey wine. Laura gave me the confidence to make my own home-made sourdough and focaccias and I am delighted that I have caught the bread-making bug. My children have had a great time at her holiday pop-up bake clubs and birthday parties, arriving home with bulging bags of cakes and cookies. And I totally recommend her supper club - great food and relaxed company in her beautiful Epsom dining room. She always inspires me to try new recipes and entertain more in my own kitchen.

Laura provided an excellent 3.5 hour cookery course - clearly explaining the creative processes behind the meals we were preparing and allowing me to get stuck in to the work required. The time flew and has provided me with the confidence to go on and cook dishes that would have been otherwise beyond my comfort zone. Oh...and the final results were delicious!

I was given a Christmas gift to put to an Italian cooking course. Wanted to start with pasta making. Looked online and found Laura Scott in Epsom. It was a 3 hour course making fresh egg pasta, forfalle and tortellini together with a simple tomato sugo, Genovese pesto and a ricotta filling. Laura was extremely instructive, giving clear and informative demonstrations and help throughout the class, giving useful tips and was really encouraging and gave me confidence to go on with more dishes in the future. The food she demonstrated was served to us as lunch, with a glass of wine, and our work was taken home to enjoy with family later. I cannot thank Laura enough for a really enjoyable class.

We were bought a private cookery class as a wedding gift and what a morning we had. We learnt to make a whole range of different Mediterranean food from focaccia and pesto to chicken marinades and pasta dishes. The morning spent cooking and eating our food was followed by an incredible lunch of everything we had just made. Stunning food and food we still make now using the take home recipes. We even took away all the leftovers and had some amazing lunches for days. We would highly recommend Laura and her cookery classes.

Laura helped me crack sourdough - her clear teaching over 4 hours was all I needed to start me on my way to reliable, delicious sourdough the next weekend.

Went with my husband to one of Laura's Sourdough bread demos recently. It was an excellent session. The morning started with coffee and Laura's lovely homemade banana bread. She then explained and demonstrated the different stages of making sourdough, from making your own starter to the baking, very clearly and thoroughly. The morning finished with a delicious lunch including local cheeses and of course plenty of sourdough bread! Laura gave each of us a jar of starter to take away. My previous attempts to make any kind of bread have always ended in disappointment but I can honestly say that every loaf I have made since (four batches of loaves and foccacia) have been excellent - even if I say so myself! I highly recommend this demo.
