We used Hungry Hog for our wedding on the 25th May. I could not fault the quality of food, the communication, the price, the service and the staff that attended our wedding. I first emailed Mark to discuss pricing and options for our wedding in which he explained everything to me and broke down all costs. On the day the food was amazing with all guests very happy. They also provided different food to cater for the vegan and gluten free guests. Nothing was too much to ask at all. Highly professional and I will be using again in the future. The food was brilliant and honestly, the best hog roast we have ever had. Thank you to Mark and everyone at Hungry Hog, couldn't have asked more anything more.

We a big family/friends party at our house & Mark did the catering for us. Fantastic hog roast & fish bites. Everything was top notch: the food, salads & sauces/chutney. Everyone was delighted & many said it was the best pork in a bun they had ever tasted. Highly recommended, very good value indeed. We will definitely be using Hungry Hog again.

The Quality of the food was divine, the amount people had was more than ample and no one went hungry.
People have been raving about it and 2 people have since asked for his details, which we gladly passed on.

I would have no hesitation in booking Mark again. He was so easy to work with and his quality is second to none!

Having seen Hungry Hog South West at a number of different events held at my place of work I can thoroughly recommend his service to anyone. Working as an event organiser I know that the care and dedication that the owner and his staff show at each and every event is hard to find. Always going the extra mile to make sure each customers event runs smoothly and with great organisational skills Hungry Hog South West is the perfect place to go to for a wedding/party or just a spot of lunch! As for the taste of this food I can say that I have spent many a lunchtime munching on a roll from their days trading on Bedford Square!

Could not recommend anymore, you can't go wrong with a hog roast!

Mark and his team were recommended to us by friends and this is the second time of using them to cater for a party. Extremely professional and friendly service and the food is delicious. Love Hungry Hog South Wests food!
Seen them on Tavistock Square a lot and my partner and I love going and getting a roll for lunch! (Their greek style pitta wraps are a must try!!) We love the fact the meat is so juicy and not dry at all, however would definitely recommend picking up extra napkins!!
After getting engaged we knew exactly who we wanted for our evening food at our reception! We loved the food and the men (as it sometimes changes who we see) they are very accommodating and very lovely guys!
So easy to organise and everything is very professional all done via email which I love so I can look back and check over details.
Everything ran smoothly on the night! Which I was half surprised about seeing as the venue was a field in the middle of nowhere! Food for 100 people with a little left over was amazing I had loads of guests telling me the food was lovely and we had definitely picked well for evening food. The queue was dealt with quickly and efficiently, plus people didn't mind waiting a little bit as the gentleman was chatting with all the guests!!

Wonderful hog roast! Our guests at our wedding loved the hog, the Tuscan salads and the home-baked rolls. Mark was great- able to set up on the terrace of our venue (Pentillie Castle) thus the hog was enjoyed al fresco on a super sunny evening. Would thoroughly recommend,as would our 95 guests!

Hungry hog south west catered for my wedding, I was really disappointed with the service, and so were my guests. I had many guests tell me they were unhappy with the food, veggies were offered crackling, the bread rolls ran out and guests were given soggy meat. We were quoted for two members of staff and paid for 100 people yet when I emailed to complain that we had one member of staff serving and my guests waited ages to be served, I was told 'the original quotation was for 100 and as the numbers dropped to below 100 it is my decision for my business to supply one member of staff '. Surely I should have been informed of the change to the service before my wedding, my numbers dropped to 87 I was still charged for 100 people, surely you either cater for 100 as quoted or you reduce your quote if your going to reduce staff but no I was still charged for 100 people and received one member of staff. Also the remaining meat was taken away after we specifically asked for it to be left, after all we did pay for a 50kg pig. The meat was soggy and sat in juice the reply to this was also poor, ' Please could you also confirm was the Pork sitting in Juice or Water', surely as your business you would not need to ask how the meat was kept.
Would not even give one star for the service received (but google wont accept no stars) and would 100% not recommend this company for a large event as they struggle to cater for it. Their customer service is good until after the event where they just deny everything.
