Hungry Mule was absolutely incredible. From the start, they were super helpful and addressed any queries we had. We had a party with multiple dietary requirements (both of us are vegan), and Hungry Mule helped us create a menu that catered to everyone perfectly. We wanted a more relaxed style for starters, so we chose sharing boards, which Hungry Mule executed beautifully. For the mains, each guest had a specified meal with sharing sides, and we finished with a delicious vegan brownie for dessert.

We also attended a supper club for a food tasting, and the dishes blew us away (I still think about that vegan chocolate brownie!). The tasting was so helpful and made us even more excited for the wedding day food.

On the day, Sam handled everything seamlessly, serving drinks all day and ensuring everything ran smoothly. The food and drinks flowed perfectly, and we received so many compliments on how incredible our wedding food was.

We honestly can’t recommend Hungry Mule enough. The food and service were exceptional and truly contributed to making our day so special. If you want a wedding with high-quality food and service, definitely choose Hungry Mule.

Well what can I say?! Hungry Mule was recommended to us by our wedding venue and we are so glad they were because frankly there is no better wedding caterer in the South West.

Our wedding day was an absolute dream from start to finish thanks to Hungry Mule. We met with Sam and his team in the run up to the wedding and Sam created the most incredible coastal inspired menu for our day.

When it came to the day the staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble, they were always checking everyone was happy and the service was impeccable. We were able to relax knowing our guests were well looked after, including all those with dietary requirements. We have received so many compliments from guests on how delicious the food was and they loved that the menu was something a bit different.

We couldn't have asked for a better caterer for our special day so thank you to Sam & the team.

Hungry Mule were one of the caterers recommend by our venue and they instantly stood out with their brilliant sample menus. Sam was absolutely brilliant throughout the process - very responsive with building a tailored menu for our afternoon tea idea, very understanding and professional about our postponement, a total delight to chat to at our delicious food tasting. On the day, everything was flawless for our 95 guests. Our guests LOVED the food, from the canapés to the afternoon tea to the hog roast. Perfect portions, beautifully presented and most importantly totally delicious. No problems at all with catering for dietary requirements and our GF guests loved their special individual platters. The serving staff were fantastic throughout and made sure everything went smoothly. We couldn’t recommend Hungry Mule more highly.

Sam and his team, served a beautiful 3 course meal for us, at a 60th Birthday Party. The food was excellent, served at intervals that suited the timings of other entertainment during the evening. The whole catering team were friendly and could not have been more attentive and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend Hungry Mule Catering.

We visited the Hungry Mule Supper Club and couldn’t recommend visiting enough! Sam served up a coastal fish based menu expertly put together. The presentation was incredible throughout and it all tasted delicious. An absolute must visit and we can’t wait to visit again soon.

I used Hungry Mule for my husbands 40th birthday catering when we had 14 guests staying at the Allington Court property as part of the Symondsbury Estate in Bridport.

In the run up to the event, Sam communicated brilliantly with me via email and was very accomodating with the variety of menu choices and included vegetarian and gluten free options for two of our guests. It was the most incredible evening of quality food and service.

Will & Beth were an absolute pleasure cooking and serving and all of our guests were in food heaven! One even commented it was the best meal she had ever had and interrogated Will on how to make your fabulous Mac & Cheese!

The kitchen was left immaculately and we thoroughly enjoyed the leftovers on Sunday evening too which was an added bonus.

Amazing food and service!

We used Hungry Mule for a sit down meal for 21 guests to celebrate a joint 50th Birthday celebration in January 2022.

The catering team arrived bang on time and took care of everything. We had a guest age range of from under 10 to over 70 and everyone commented on the high standard of food and how friendly the service team were.

Highly recommend the dessert sharing platters - they were lush!

We used hungry mule for our wedding catering and were extremely impressed with their service.

We went for a tasting beforehand, where Sam presented a variety of options based on the style we wanted so we could tailor our menu.

We opted for a selection of canapés, which the caterers served alongside our drinks. For the main we went for a “posh” BBQ option that was delivered on beautiful wooden platters for guests to share a selection on each table. The team even took the time to pull together some bespoke meal options for those with various dietary requirements.

We’ve had nothing but compliments from our guests about the food, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend hungry mule for any large scale event as they did a brilliant job.
