Este castillo es un lugar interesante, pero para la English Heritage no es querido y no se cuida bien y los materiales de interpretación son extremadamente pobres. Me sorprendió mucho.

Interesting place but for English Heritage it's unloved and poorly looked after and interpretation materials extremely poor. Was very surprised. Just joined English Heritage today and based on this wouldn't recommend it! But will persevere! Had some overseas friends visiting and frankly felt embarrassed- as a bit 'third world' in feel!
A really lovely walk to it 2 miles or you can get a v quaint ferry for £5 each way or £8 return.

Long way to walk to find the place is closed. Not even toilets or a hot drink available. Easy to post a notice at the start of the spit to inform, but nothing there. Castle was closed to visitors, lots of building work going on.

This castle is over 480 years old, and a two mile walk from the nearest car park. Although access to the castle is free for English Heritage members, the carparks are not. We walked on a rainy day, but it was definitely worth it.

Had a BBQ and done a spot of fishing next to the castle. It was a very nice place to visit. The Hurst castle fair service was a little steep for 2 adults 1 child was £22 return for a 10min boat trip each way, maybe a little expensive for people on a budget. Car park was £8.50 for 6 hours so £30.50 before food and other activities. Was an enjoyable day highly recommend.

Great day out! Lots to see. Could be a more info/description but it’s a huge property with minimal staffing. Views from the top are spectacular. Could’ve spent much longer in the light house Museum which was really interesting. Fun going on the ferry. Ferry prices £8 return not unreasonable considering 25 min journey.

It is a great place if you are a member of English heritage The staff were so helpful, it's a long trek if walking but well worth it.

Great place to visit and learn the history of the place from Tudor times uptown the Second World War.

Plenty of plaques with information on about this history of the place.

You can take a ferry from Keyhaven for £8 return which runs every 20 minutes or so or walk along the spit up to the castle from Milford on Sea.

Entry price reasonable and plenty to explore inside well worth a day out.

Dog friendly!
This place is so full of history, from Tudor times right up until the 2nd world war. There are information boards all over the castle and the views from the top are stunning, you can see the Isle of Wight and the needles. The ferry across is £8 return, alternatively you can walk 45 minutes from Keyhaven. Entrance to the castle was £5.50 per adult, an absolute bargain. There is a coffee shop just outside and a beautiful lighthouse to see. It's definitely worth a visit!
