From check in to check out, all staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was adequate for our two night stay. It did lack some (what I would call) essentials; no coat hangers, only one rail in the hallway, no wardrobes and no drawers so we lived out of our suitcase. Beds were comfy. The bathroom was spotless, the walk in shower was spacious and the espa products were an added bonus. The kitchen was well equipped but only a small table and two chairs for dining. We ate out so it wasn't too much of a problem. The grab and go breakfast from reception is a great idea and items can be taken back to the room. We booked a slot to use the spa facilities which were nice, however, some what marred by children jumping in the pool while parents were in the sauna (I had to speak to the children about being considerate of others). The hotel is in a great location, only a short walk into St Annes or to the pier and beach. It is definitely worth the money we paid. We love Lythm St. Annes and we would definitely return to the Hy Hotel in the future.

Lovely spacious apartment in a great location near town, park and seafront. Comfy beds, beautifully decorated. Grab and go breakfast is a great idea and set us up well for the day. Good pool albeit v cold but may have been a technical problem. Staff helpful and responsive.

I had a truly disappointing experience at Hotel Hy Lytham St Annes and would not recommend staying here. My wife and I booked a room for 21/02/2025 via Booking.com, expecting a 5-star stay, but were met with shocking conditions and poor service.

Upon arrival, we were assured of high cleanliness standards and 24-hour room service. However, our room was filthy—leftover food on the floor, chairs, and even in the bathroom, along with dirty and stained furniture. When we requested a room change, we were told the hotel was fully booked, and our room was the only one not yet refurbished—something that was never mentioned during booking.

The next day, we were promised a new room (401) after checkout, but when we returned that evening, the reception was locked, and the night maintenance staff had no record of our reservation. After a stressful wait, we were eventually moved to another room (308), which was also unclean, with visible food and dirt.

The mismanagement and lack of communication among staff made the experience even worse. I called the reception team for clarification, only to be given inconsistent and misleading information about who to contact and how to escalate my complaint.

This hotel falsely advertises itself as a luxury experience, yet it failed to meet even basic hospitality standards. I have requested a full refund for the unacceptable conditions and terrible service. Avoid this place unless you want to deal with unclean rooms, poor customer service, and a completely disorganized staff.

Fabulous, with everything you need; small kitchenette was great with 2 children. They loved the bunk beds too and of course the swimming pool! |Nice relaxing lounge with large bay window, to sit and watch onto the main road leading to|shopping part.|Lovely bathroom with shower. Couldn’t fault it, will definitely be going back. |Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel went as a family for husbands 70th we had 3 apartments all close to each other which was great very relaxing!! Grandchildren loved the pool and eldest loved the gym. Maxine was so lovely and welcoming! Beds very comfy and amenities in apartment excellent... Definitely would recommend this hotel

Third and sadly last visit until some improvements are made. Over the past couple of years it seems to have gone downhill, the rooms look good in the pictures but are in desperate need of a deep clean, and a refresh. Corners are dusty, skirting boards filthy, walls marked, cracks all over the place. Sofa bed was stained and caused the worst night sleep, although was told by reception they are all being replaced. Certain aspects of the apartments are well thought out, others not. No coat hooks anywhere, sounds minor, but there is no where to hang anything. No storage units for clothes or items. I ended up hanging a wet coat on a screw in the wall that once had a picture hanging on it I suspect.

One of the big attractions for me was that the pool booking meant only 2 rooms at a time could use the pool for a slot, they seem to have abandoned this now and anyone can use it. As a result the changing rooms were filthy, and the floor flooded with 2 inches of water making it impossible to change. I love the location and what it should offer, sadly it seems as though it is being neglected. Minor improvements would go a long way.

Just returned from a fabulous stay with family. The accomodation was perfect for a special celebration. To have the benefit of self catering combined with the facilities of a hotel suited us very much.|The rooms were clean and had everything you could possiblely need. Location is perfect and a very short walk to the shops and beach. Parking on site is also a great addition.|A special thank you goes to Maxine & Jordan. They were very thoughtful, helpful and true assets to the hotel. Thank you both, your kindness was much appreciated.

The staff were excellent nothing was too much trouble they went above and beyond. We went as a family to celebrate a birthday. We checked in early and they upgraded our room from a 2 bedroomed to 3 bedroomed apartment. There was 7 of us 3 adults and 2 children 2 teenagers. Plenty of room. Beds were comfortable everything was clean and was ideal for long stay. Kitchen had fridge freezer cooker washing machine dish washer microwave etc. It was only an overnight stay. Unfortunately there was no lift. No bar but breakfast was provided. Pool area was great and towels were provided by hotel. Although there was no restaurant there is plenty of eating out options. Hotel will recommend places depending on which cuisine you want. We had pub lunch and I Indian evening meal both excellent. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it .
