Food is lovely but presentation and customer service is absolutely awful! Always feel rushed and on this particular occasion after ordering food this is what we received! A slither of ham and a smushed cake? Not to mention the bag being thrown at me and asked to “hurry up” so she can serve the next customer. Absolutely appalled by my experience today. :/

I visited Hyams Bakers around 1:55 PM and waited in a long queue, which was particularly challenging for me due to foot pain that worsens with prolonged standing. I specifically came to purchase a filled roll, and just as I was about to be served, the staff put them away. Despite explaining that I had been waiting for a long time, they did not accommodate my request.

I find this to be unfair, especially since I was the last person in line. I believe that customers who have waited patiently should be served, even if it means a slight extension of service time. This experience was disappointing and has left me reluctant to return.,

Nice little bakery with loafs, cakes and pastry's. The gals in the shop are so kind and willing to give suggestions and take the time to serve you. They take card and cash.

The lady serving was really quite passive aggressive for no reason. One of our cakes was also stale at the top so unsure of how fresh all products are. Shame as prices here are really competitive and other products good but the service made us feel really unwelcome to return.

So, the baguette was fine, but I've had a sausage roll a scone and a egg custard tart from here and everytime the pastry on them tasted like cleaning chemicals or bleach. I had one sausage roll more browned than the other and you couldn't taste it as much. But the rest was nasty. I'm guessing it's the flour. I'd recommend Woosters bakery in bury if you're looking for a proper old school bakery, this place is full of synthetic cream donuts.

Love this place! My boyfriend and I always get their bread! One time I had wanted to pick up an item, but I wasn’t going to be able to make it before they closed..so they left the item with the salon next door and they trusted me to leave the money with the salon. I thought that was generous! That is a a really good business, who puts the customer first! Hugely recommend!!

Fabulous baps! Soft and slightly chewy, just wonderful with simply cooked bacon. Please ignore the one star reviews by the "gamer" as one star is definitely not a true reflection. We are lucky to have such a good bakery.
