3 friends and I stayed at this cottage this august bank holiday and I cannot recommend this place enough! It is a beautiful little 2 bed cottage perfect for a family of 4 situated on a lovely sheep farm. Self catering facilities were phenomenal with a fully equipped kitchen (including slow cooker, large spacious fridge and dishwasher!!!). The master bed is huge! Cosy living room with plenty of seating, and outdoor garden space was well kept and perfect for sitting outside with a book.
Penny was warm and welcoming on arrival and answered any questions we had. Checked up on us once to make sure we had everything we needed and even left chocolates and wine on the table for our arrival which was a lovely touch.
Quiet, with plenty of local country walks nearby and only a short drive to Milton Keynes Xscape shopping centre which had a cinema, crazy golf, escape rooms, arcades, bowling and restaurants (we had a rainy Saturday).

Thank you Penny for providing us with the perfect stay.
I will definitely be revisting in the future!

My wife and I stayed in Hyde Farm Cottages from 14 December 2023 to 8 January 2024, while we were 'between houses.' It was a very positive experience: the cottage was warm, comfortable and had all the space we needed. Penny and David were excellent hosts; Penny even put Christmas decorations up for us! The situation of the cottages is excellent, quiet but within walking distance of Olney. We recommend Hyde Farm Cottages.

We spent a very restful, comfortable three weeks at one of the Hyde Farm Cottages. It's peaceful and well equipped, and our host Penny was wonderfully helpful and obliging. This part of the country is not a tourist hot-spot but we found plenty to see and do in the area within an hour's drive. Nearby Olney (3-4 minutes drive) is a pleasant, attractive little town with lots of character. The antics of the farm's resident free range guinea fowl provided extra amusement. If you want a relaxing holiday in quiet countryside look no further.

Could not possibly love this place more. Every time we’re back to visit from Australia we stay here and it’s fantastic. The whole experience is just brilliant. The owners are lovely and give you total privacy, the cottage is really comfortable and well equipped, my kids LOVE the farm and all the sheep, ducks, pheasants etc and it’s basically right next to olney which is the nicest little town/village in the area. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

If you like the countryside and the sounds of peace and quiet you’ll love your stay here as I have on 2 occasions.
Location is beautiful and is not far from Milton Keynes
