John and all the team at Hydropool in Hilsea have been fantastic.
John made sure he eased my concerns with a site visit ensuring the hot tub could get into my garden and was knowledgable about the sort of tub I was wanting. After a smooth delivery, John also visited and spent time going through the tasks required to keep a well maintained hot tub and was so helpful offering to help and advise anytime after sale.

John and his team are truly first class and a pleasure to deal with. I had a bad experience with Hydropool Dorset and out of desperation called Hydropool Southampton and immediately John was a breath of fresh air and resolved my issues with my Hot tub at the time. I then started to consider a new Hot tub and from day 1 John was always professional and friendly and never pushed for the sale but was always informative. I purchased a new tub at the Southampton boat show and John called regularly from signing the purchase order to post installation to check if everything was ok. Scott and the installation team were also top class, but my main reason for buying via Hydropool was John (Just saying, I am not a friend or a relation!)

I am really late in posting this review, so apologies to John Holman.

We visited Hydropool Portsmouth in April 2023, initially to see what was available. We had made an appointment (with John) in advance, and so had his undivided attention for a good hour or so. We looked at all the models on display and probably sat in about 75% of them. John was very informative and was able to answer all of our questions with confidence. Clearly someone who knows his product line. This definitely helped us with our decision to buy.

In the end, and because there was a special offer going (isn't there always!), we decided we didn't want to look any further and signed up for a tub there a then. In the end we didn't actually have it installed until Dec. 2023 because of delays with our garden renovation. This was not a problem and, after we had made the (small) deposit, John arranged for the unit to be held in storage for us until we were ready to have it delivered.

I have to say that after sales service was also good. Hydropool adjusted the filter fittings for us and also installed some additional insulation at no cost.

All in all a good experience, and we are loving the tub in the garden still (and so are most of our friends).

I came to Hydropool last summer to get a hottub and left really happy.
we were really well looked after by John after we explained that we didn't have any rear access and wouldn't be able to fit the tub through the house said that its no problem.
he suggested that we can get it lifted over the house into the back garden and offered us a list of people that he had heard did a good job whole thing from start to finish was so easy john was really helpful and it went without a hitch I was constantly kept informed throughout the entire process and that was a really nice touch.
No matter what I need now either filters or test strips, chemicals John is my go to man nothings an issue and he is always at the end of the phone he is an asset to the company I couldn't recommend him enough thanks for your continued help John its really appreciated mate.

The pre sales and installation itself was great, John in the Portsmouth showroom was really patient and not pushy in any way. He went out of his way to talk through the many different options and allowed demonstrations etc.

Sadly the aftercare and follow up once the hot tub was bought is where it all changed. I had an issue with a missing jet that took 2 months to resolve (leaving me unable to use the hot tub as intended in that time). I had to keep chasing. I was given a free packet of chlorine granules as a “sorry” which is pretty condescending.

I also didn’t get replies to emails following this to the customer service team about a couple of points and so really felt let down.
Sell you the Platinum service dream (with a platinum price tag) but actually deliver at best silver customer support.

The hot tub itself is great with those early problems aside.

I've never brought a hot tub, and I found hydropool in hilsea. From the minute I walked into the showroom, I felt welcomed, the staff, are nice, there communication is excellent Inregards to keeping you update
The delivery and install team where kind and very helpful.

Hi.
I very rarely leave any reviews but dealing with John Holman at Hydropool at the Portsmouth Showroom i thought it was important to.
I was looking for a new swim spa for our home a big expense for us , looked at everything online and became really confused on what to go for.
I left my details with Hydropool in Portsmouth , they called me back the next day , were really helpful and not pushy.
I arranged to visit for me and my wife at the show room in Portsmouth and meet up with John Holman.
I run my own business and meet people all day , when i met John he was amazing , offered a coffee , nice chat , showed us around the show room , we found a swim spa which suited us and he gave us all the info we needed to make a decision , in fact i was so impressed and happy with Johns help we bought it that day.
Just to make sure it was the right swim spa John invited us over to the show room on a Sunday to take a swim in the spa and feel what it was like to swim with the jets.

We have now had the swim spa delivered and its up and running , John has been on the end of the phone all the way through and made sure every is perfect.

Well done Hydropool its great to see your company has customer service at the top of the list and gives 100% to their customers.

The New swim spa we have brought is really impressive , high quality and really well insulated , we are heating the spa at night and over the day it only goes down by 1 degree.

We have visited Hydropool Hilsea on two occasions, one for general information and the second for a wet test. On both occasions Adam made us feel totally at ease, answered all of our questions and never once made us feel like we had to sign paperwork there and then. He gave us a significant amount of information about Hydropool products but also about the multitude of other products on the market. Our wet test was informative, in a relaxed environment and we came away knowing all we needed to make a solid decision on what we needed. I have been to other showrooms for a wet test and the one at hydropool was by far the best for information, support and time provided to ensure we knew everything we needed to know about the machines. I would wholeheartedly recommend Adam to anyone looking to purchase a Swim Spa (or hot tub) regardless of budget. Whereas many sales professionals just want you to buy what they are selling, Adam’s ethos is more to help you work out what you actually need. Outstanding service and greatly appreciated.
