I photographed a winter Hindu wedding recently at the Hyland Estate and I fell in love with the venue. Beautiful bridal site, the grand staircase, the grounds, all absolutely wonderful. The marquee allows big Asian weddings to take place there. Staff was super lovely to work with. 5 stars from me !

Amazing Christmas lighting's and a perfect evening out with kids. They will love it and even adults as well. Lot of places are there to take amazing family photos. Ample car parking and since it's away from city/town we can escape from the traffic too. Worth visiting and the property is managed very well.

What a wonderful experience I had at Hylands as being wedding toastmaster and coordination on 26 August 2024 at Multicultural wedding. The staff were wonderful as were there hospitality, nothing was to much trouble, wonderful teamwork and highly recommended and can’t wait to return.

My husband and I got married at Hylands House in May. Amy, James, Sam and the rest of the team ensured we had an absolutely beautiful, stress free wedding day. Throughout the planning process we felt completely well informed and everything was so well organised; Amy did an amazing job. Even having a face to face final meeting with Amy to walk through the whole day was so reassuring and she was in regular communication with us throughout the whole process.

On the day, it was massively reassuring how involved James and Sam were and this meant so much to us. James was regularly checking on us, informing us of the progress of the day, updating us with timings and relaxing us with a big smile on his face! We felt so well taken care of and we honestly didn't feel any stress throughout the day in terms of worrying about time/whether everything was going as per the itinerary as James was already there talking us through as the day progressed. All the other staff members were so lovely and kind to us and we had the most relaxed civil wedding day. We were able to enjoy time with our guests and enjoy the food peacefully with everyone as we'd imagined. The house also looked so beautiful (as always!) on the day and we were so happy that we'd picked the perfect venue for our civil wedding!

Lovely and spacious building, perfect for any function. It’s a shame that there’s no antique furniture in the house and ‘the library’ looks like any other room. Would recommend for an event but maybe not as a tourist attraction.
