DO NOT STAY HERE FOR YOUR SAFETY. When booking a room here i never really cared if it was lacking in a few things but never did i expect everything to be super run down, broken, filled with mould, and worst of all, addicts running around the hallways banging on customer’s doors just for a lighter or something. luckily my room wasn’t super bad, but you’d expect everything to be clean before you enter. bathrooms are the worst, and the hallways smelled of weed or fresh paint made to cover something up. DO NOT STAY HERE. wasted potential for a nice hotel because the location is amazing but it seems like the workers dont care for the quality of this hotel at all.

Well we arrived here today xmas eve and having read previous reviews we were expecting a dump .Well it couldn't be further from the truth .What a lovely place ,very clean ,lovely marbled floors in receception as you walk in .The guy on reception was lovely very friendly and helpful and check in was very quick .Ok so there are a few scuffs here and there but nothing that was horrendous ,even our own homes suffer from knocks and bumps at some time . Our room on first floor is superb warm ,very clean and spacious . They don't serve breakfast but they do evening meals on weekends . So some of the previous reviews about this hotel must be lies because what we are seeing is a really nice clean place and for the price excellent . If you want the Ritz then go and pay Ritz prices .But for what we paid for 3 nights it meets well over our expectations . To get free parking make sure you give reception your vehicle reg when you check in .

I've stayed on a few occasions but my recent experiences have not been great. The hotel is used by Coventry City Council as homeless accommodation and should not be open to the general public. Police and ambulances regularly visit the hotel and it's obvious some of the permanent residents have drug issues

Cleaning is almost not existent. Sockets and switches were filthy my room wasn't hoovered prior to arrival and had the strong smell of bed bug/ flea spray. I stripped the bed to be courteous to the cleaners on my depature and was horrified what was beneath the bed sheet and duvet cover. The bathroom was particularly unclean and not fit for use.

The whole hotel needs a complete refurbishment or closing to the general public. I'm not sure how anyone can be happy with a stay here they must have extremely low standards of living and hygiene.

The only positive was 1 member of staff who was polite and professional other than that I have no positive comments to make.

I was offered drugs on checkout by a shady looking character stood in the doorway of the hotel which having spent a night was no surprise the smell of cannabis and tobacco can be smelt everywhere close your eyes and you could be in Amsterdam

We stayed for two nights whilst visiting our grandaughters new home and cannot praise this hotel enough! Our room was just lovely and absolutely spotless with plenty of very hot water. A very comfortable bed with sheets white not grey and towels exactly the same.||Breakfast was well cooked and so much we didn't need to eat again till 5.30 !||Overall a wonderful two days in immaculately clean large communal areas and restaurant witheveryone so friendly and helpful. Cannot reommend highly enough!

Don’t do it. Don’t do it. Don’t do it !!!!!|hell on earth |This has to be the worst hotel in the United Kingdom. |Nothing seems to work. Cigarettes smell everywhere. Leaking ceilings. Absent staff and worst of all you get a parking tickets a week after You visited even if you validated your parking at reception.

I stayed here because it’s the worst reviewed hotel in Coventry. The hallway was messy but I checked back in an hour and it was cleaned up. My room wasn’t the cleanest or well presented. All you need is a clean bed and mine was mostly clean. My favourite part of the hotel was the function room pretending to be an Indian restaurant. A beautiful lobby with a tv, pool table and bar sadly they had nothing on draft available but this was a positive as water was a healthy alternative. 5 Stars 🌟

Absolutely shocking, people outside taking drugs, drug users sitting in bar area smoking and touching each other up, everywhere smells of cigarettes and drunks shouting outside ABSOLUTE DUMP!
