This is a cheap and cheerful one nighter type of hotel you can stay at to enjoy some time in Leeds City Centre. It’s just on the edge of the centre but ideal to walk into the shopping areas. It’s close to the bus station and walking distance of train station. It is clean and basic. Staff are welcoming and helpful. There are no team and coffee facilities in the room but you can buy at reception. There is no mirror above the desk makes it a little awkward for hair drying and applying makeup. Our stay was quiet and enjoyable. Breakfast was continental and plenty to choose from. Check out was 12 midday which is a bonus. Don’t expect luxury and you will be ok. If you have an issue let staff know politely. You cannot access lifts without your door card so for us it felt safe and secure. Next time we will try the Ibis Style.

Stayed here with 2 friends after attending a gig at the arena. The location was perfect - only a 20 minute walk through the city centre. However, the hotel itself was quite poor. Rooms were incredibly small, with the toilet shoved into a small cupboard & sink in the middle of the room. The shower was only covered by some virtually see-through "privacy glass" with a huge hole as a handle & a mirror straight opposite, giving no privacy if you needed to shower. The room didn't feel/look particularly clean and didn't have the 'hotel fresh' smell/vibe it should have had. Staff weren't overly welcoming. In addition, the door on the room was very difficult to close. The hotel overall seemed very run-down. -& not looked after. Paid £115 for one night but quite disappointed as it didn't look anywhere near as nice as it did on the website. Good location for arena gigs but not sure I'd choose to stay here again 🙁

Standard budget hotel that's in a great location, just a short ten minutes walk from the centre.

It's never going to be a luxurious stay but the rooms aren't in the worst condition, and everything functions as it should.

Walls are very thin and on one night my neighbours were playing music and arguing until 2 in the morning, and then the fire alarm went off, which I'm certain my neighbours were involved in.

Beds were comfortable however, and it's very affordable

I often use Ibis budget as they provide everything I need in an overnight stay. Leeds, like all other Ibis budget hotels I've stayed in is well located, a short walk to the shops, restaurants and bars. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful and the rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. As I've mentioned in other reviews, this is Ibis budget, so there's a couple of minor omissions, but I can handle going down to reception for tea or coffee. A continental, buffet breakfast is also available at a reasonable price. I'd be more than happy to stay again.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at this hotel, and I must say, it was far from pleasant. Upon arrival, I was optimistic, but that quickly faded as I encountered several issues that made my stay quite uncomfortable.

First and foremost, the mattress and quilt were disappointingly thin. I could feel the bed frame beneath me, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Instead of a cozy, restful atmosphere, it felt more like I was camping without proper gear.

The bathroom situation was equally dismal. The toilet was ridiculously small, making it feel cramped and awkward. But the real kicker was the shower—there was nothing but a frosted window into the bedroom! This lack of privacy was not only bizarre but also made for an incredibly awkward experience. I couldn't help but feel exposed and uncomfortable during what should have been a relaxing moment.

The breakfast was dismal, you couldn't get toast as the toaster wasn't browning.

I had to pay £3.99 for a cup of tea!

Overall, my stay was appalling, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. There are far better options out there that offer the basics one would expect from a decent establishment. £150 for a budget hotel. Laughable Save your money and look elsewhere!

After reading bad reviews, we were apprehensive about staying (for an arena gig). But we met people who had stayed many times with no issue's and our stay was absolutely fine. Room basic but comfortable, shower was good, food was good, staff helpful.|We were out enjoying Leeds most of the time but this was very good for a budget hotel

The hotel is quite simple but check in, check out are very quick and easy.
It's well located near the city centre. The location is very noisy though, I had to leave the window open throughout the night because the aircon was not working, and there was constant car noise and people talking loud.
Was not impressed by the breakfast, was honestly expecting more.
Staff in general was very welcoming, especially a very nice guy from Portugal who works at the reception and one of the cleaning ladies who left our room looking super clean and tidy.
Could be a little cheaper for what it offers but overall I'm satisfied with my stay.

We were staying for one night after a gig so overall served its purpose but one thing really disappointed us. We arrived back at the hotel at 11pm after the gig and found the bunk bed for the 3rd person wasn't made and the bedding was just piled up on the bed. With the double bed being made up ready I do think us as guest should have to do the third one ourselves. ||If you're looking for a cheap hotel it's fine with the basic amenities but if you're in a similar position, make sure the beds are made first!
