So, I live in Cambridge Heath Rd and have seen this place often. This area is becoming the mecca for food, but East London has always been the place. Years ago it was a tip, talking about 25 years ago but now it’s been gentrified to hell and back but Yay! For food.
So, I have read all of these great reviews and I do agree the focaccia was ok. I had mine yesterday, the Parma sandwich. I found the focaccia hard to get through, the actual chicken was a sliver I expected it to be slightly thicker. The first half I ate the second, only the breaded chicken to get the taste. Having Spanish bakers for in-laws, who make their own tomato sauce for their empanadas made me fall in love with this sauce. I LOVED the tomato sauce. I found this Sandi to be a bit dry. Suggestion, add a small pot of that sauce with it.I had dreams of drenching my sandi in that sauce, delicious. I think it’s good, I am happy I tried it. I just think for £11.50 it could have been much better. (Forgot to take pics of the food.)

Food by FOCACCIA MIA (hosted at Ida's) is TERRIFIC. I tried all the focaccia spots in London, this is by far the best!

The steak sandwich is recommended. Menu slightly different for walk-in (you can mix 2 halves) but order on Uber Eats/Deliveroo if you want to order a sandwich with extra filling (£5 more).

Not easy to find as arches are in a less-known road but, once you get to Bethnal Green on the Central or Overground you should spot it

I've been eating Ida's food regularly for over two years and I have never been disappointed, absolutely delicious, great variety. They do amazing world cuisines, but their Italian dishes are to die for. I highly recommend them for office/business lunches or indeed for catered dinner parties for special occasions, which is completely bespoke catering for your individual need. I cant wait for my next IK_LDN meal...!
