We had a lovely, peaceful time in the Orchard Pickers' cottage. Hosts were really helpful, and balanced welcome with complete uninterrupted peacefulness. David is a great conversationalist, so do get him chatting! We also loved the animals, especially Nutmeg the spaniel and two kindly donkeys.||The accommodation is split between a studio bedroom with kitchenette and shower, with use of an adjacent summer house, with sofas, books etc, plus plenty of sitting outside space. It's cosy and great fun.

We recently stayed at Iffin Farm House in Canterbury with a group of friends and family, and it was an incredible experience! We hired the entire property, which was perfect for our gathering. The place is very safe, and it’s extremely child-friendly, which made it ideal for families. The hosts, Sarah and David, were fantastic—so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. The ambiance of the farm is peaceful, and the facilities are excellent. Thank you for giving us such memorable moments at your beautiful farmhouse. We can’t wait to book again for another gathering. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and unwind in a stunning countryside setting!

Orchard Pickers Cottage||A lovely and special place to stay, the lack of photos leaves this cosy accommodation something of a mystery until you get here.||Accessed via a narrow lane, good directions enable the entrance to be pinpointed on the satnav. Check-in is contactless so you can arrive any time but need to find your own way to the cottage, which after dark might be a challenge! Iffin Farm has a number of animals on site, including two friendly donkeys.||The cottage is set back at the end of an orchard, with lovely views. Its single room with a comfy bed has an effective electric heater and even a wood burner. At one end there is a compact kitchen area with oven, grill, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, sink & fridge-freezer (the sound of the fridge may bother light sleepers). Curtains and blinds are effective and there is also a skylight which can be opened. The bathroom is a small corner wetroom with toilet, handbasin and electric shower. Lighting, heating and WiFi are all excellent.||Adjacent to the cottage is an elegant wooden summer house, basically a lounge area with two comfortable sofas, heating, lighting, books & DVDs. There are small TVs in both the cottage and summer house. ||Nestled between the cottage and the summer house is a private hot-tub. This took a few hours to warm up but was well worth it, especially in the mornings as the sun came up over the orchard.||Cleanliness throughout was excellent. Set away from the other buildings, the cottage is secluded, peaceful, and an ocean of calm under 10 minutes' drive from the bustle of Canterbury.

This was an amazing place away from the hustle and bustle of the Canterbury town. Had a lovely time. The room was gorgeous with a lovely view. The place was so green. Just loved spending time with the donkeys, cats and the dog. All were so adorable and super friendly! The donkeys were so gentle and loving. Have to mention David, the owner who was really friendly and warm. Would definitely visit again.

My wife and y stayed here at the end of march on a 2 night stay near Canterbury. We were due to stay in the blue room, but Sarah the owner very kindly offered to upgrade us to stay in one of the suites in the converted stables.
It was such a lovely stay, the accommodation was amazing, very well equipped, lovely picturesque and quiet grounds and only a short drive (£15 taxi fare) from the city centre.
If we were ever to return to the area, we'd certainly return and have no hesitation in recommending this lovely find to anyone else considering a stay in the area. ❤️ 🙏

We arrived at the farmhouse and did not see a soul from our arrival at 5 pm until 9 am the next morning. We had to send a message to the owner as there was only one small sachet of milk and no normal tea. We did go out to dinner and on our return we had milk and tea for the morning. We were kept awake from 12.30am by two cockerels until 6 am. This is the most impersonal experience we have ever had for £160.

My daughter recently graduated from Kent University and we needed to book a place for 4 of us to stay which was dog friendly. This venue certainly hit the spot in many ways. The hosts were friendly and helpful| but not in your faces. The accommodation is set in a wonderful setting and if you like waking up in the country to the sound of a cockerel welcoming the day, this place is for you. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and contained all we needed for a great stay. The added bonus for us was Brian the donkey and his Shetland pony friend. Brian had such a fantastic personality and made friends with us and our dog. The cats were friendly and visits from Nutmeg the dog was lovely. Located close Canterbury but far enough away to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. If you cant chill out here, then you will never be able to relax.

Our room had several cobwebs and the carpet looked like it was decades old. Otherwise, we had a good stay there. The drive up the busy one-way road is not for the faint-hearted as the locals come zooming at and past you without an thought of people walking.
