We rented Alpine View house in Aviemore. It was immaculate on entry. Lovely spacious property with a fab kitchen. Very cosy, easy to manage, great location for the Highlands. Lots to do in the area. Own parking spot plus a few overspill spaces. 3 toilets and well equipped. We recommend this house in every aspect. Nice wee extra..wine on arrival and caramel wafers! Lovely touch. Well done folks. 🙂

We stayed in the beautiful Alpine View recently and loved it. We were 4 adults and 2 kids and it was a great space for us all. Nice to have such a fresh modern house to stay in for our weekend away. It far exceeded our expectations and was way nicer in real life than we anticipated from the photos, we loved it. The garden was a great space and arcade games you provide for the kids were a major hit! Thanks so much for your hospitality Erin and Nick - we will sure to be back to this one or a different one of your lodges! Karran

We had a fantastic time during our stay at the Maltings. First impressions were "Wow!" especially the dining area with the fire and the open plan upstairs seating area.
The house was really well equipped in the kitchen and with toilet roll, black bags and hand soap which we weren't expecting. A few extra towels for the hot tub would have been handy.
The enclosed outdoor garden space was amazing for children and dogs. This made our stay so relaxed as the dogs could play safely and not be stuck inside whilst we were enjoying the sun. The hot tub was a real bonus and the outdoor seating.
Great location for lots of things to do but nice to be quite private too. Brilliant memories made and would recommend The Maltings to anyone looking to stay in this area. Thank you.

We had a pleasure to stay at Longfield, Daviot for 6 nights. After staying in many self catering cottages worldwide, and in UK in particular - this is definitely one of the best places we ever stayed at! We stayed with our 3 small kids, and the place is super family and baby/kid friendly! even though it is a two-story house, even 2 baby security gates were provided (which makes life with toddlers much easier)! that's in addition to a cot, a baby high chair, many toys in a play room that is located next to the kitchen. The place is beautifully decorated, and is fully equipped with anything you could think of during a family stay, and almost everything was new. Very clean, bright and spacious cottage! Very warm and homey. WIFI and water flow were fine (which can often be problematic in Scotland). But one of the most important things - is the huge yard and the endless private wood with magical bird sounds 24/7. the kids absolutely loved running in the yard, flying kites there and exploring the area. We had some pheasants visiting us and a reindeer also:)
It is very close to Inverness- less then 10 minutes by car, and in a close proximity to cairngorms national park, so the location was very convenient.
And the hosts- Nick ,and his aunt and uncle were very nice to deal with. great communication which is important.
I usually dont write reviews, but this place truly deserved it.

Had a lovely weekend with family. The house was perfect with loads of space for us all. Lovely cozy nights with the log burner and beautiful setting. Star gazing from the hot tub was the highlight ✨️ would definitely recommend

We had a wonderful holiday staying at the Maltings in Nethy Bridge. Beautiful location and we loved the accommodation- it was really well maintained and clean with lovely decor and everything you could possibly need including more kitchen equipment than I have at home! The summer house was really cute and the hot tub was great 👍. Would love to come back here.

Highly recommend Igloo for your next Aviemore holiday. The hosts go above and beyond. Very friendly and responsive to any queries, before and during our stay. Offer any advice for things to do, places to shop etc. Easy check in/check out process. We stayed at the Shambles which was absolutely fantastic - has everything you need. Can’t wait to book with Igloo again 🙂

The most incredible family getaway from a busy lifestyle. The property was everything we imagined from the photos and location. Brilliant for Dog owners with a very large fenced garden. Can’t wait to book this wonderful place again.
