I first rented this place to try an start my own life as a young adult. I paid my rent and everything was fine. But as soon as I expressed my situation with me loosing my job, the landlady made an excuse up to kick me out. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone.

Ideally located 4 miles from the seafront and University. Easy check in with lovely friendly staff. Room was fairly small but adequate, clean and tidy and despite being a pet friendly room did not have any nasty dog odour. Shower needed a bit of attention but it's the end of the season so sort of expected. Really old worldy style B&B/Pub/Restaurant. Sunday Roast and next morning Full Cooked English were delicious with a swift service. If something wasn't right the team were straight on it. We felt like we were on holiday rather than an overnight stay. We will definitely be going back.

I travel around the country a lot for work purposes and this is my first time of ever making a complaint on the service provided at any of the numerous B&B I stayed at. The rooms were dirty and old linen on bed I almost had asthma attack. Had to change my room and paid more but the new one no better. Don't expect any form of towels or tiny toiletries. The first room had doggy electrical for the TV with mould on the roof and dirty windows. Both rooms had very dirty kettles I couldn't think of making a cup of tea and could not help but take pictures of the kettles. The shower in the shower room was not working with the shower room dirty as well. Went down for breakfast at 8.30 am and the hostess served full English breakfast without egg or bacon and was given one slice of already buttered white bread ( she also had no brown bread). She made no apology and when I could not help but ask why I have just beans, one plum tomatoes, two sausages, diced mushrooms and a slice of bread as full English breakfast, she said she has ran out of bacon and egg. Had to go to town for a proper breakfast.

Bed sheets full of nasty brown stains yet very odourous which was probably the people from the month before having a massive dirty protest. I got offered a full English breakfast which contained more pubes than anything else and there were spunk stains all over the pillow case. Kettle handle fell off so I couldn't have a cupper. The shower head operated on it’s own accord turning on whilst I wasn’t in the shower and turning off whilst I was in the shower. Previous guests was seen ripping doors of the hinges and taking them to the scrap yard for a bit of extra money. Overall would definitely stay again as it is fantastic. Would recommend everyone to stay here 👍

The hotel stinks n the room was descusing my partner had been given a job to clean n the room she cleaned has used underwear unused condoms n we she cleaned around the hotel it was rlly dusty n showers out of use n moldy toiles stained same with the window frames we wouldn’t advise u to go their to stay or work as u will get paid £10 for 2 n 3 hours as that’s what she got paid it terrible

Room was a twin room a little small, better as a single i think. Door on bathroom wouldn't close so i used the communal bathroom as i was sharing with my partner. The walls were a little thin as i could hear everything next door and above as well. But overall it was very cosy and the bath was huge.

I have'nt actually stayed at this hotel, but I live near it and some of the guests are noisy and use bad language . They also slam car doors and blast loud music late at night . So if you are fond of a good nights sleep this place should be avoided at all cost ,
