We weren’t sure if our room would be ready when we arrived mid-afternoon, but as soon as we stepped inside, we were warmly welcomed and handed our key without delay. The room itself was simple yet spacious, with tea and coffee facilities, ample toiletries in the bathroom, and the added bonus of a fridge … which is very useful when travelling.|This was our final night after a fortnight touring the islands, with an early ferry the next morning. Breakfast was kindly and promptly prepared for us, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.|We enjoyed a lovely walk in the evening, soaking in the beautiful views. Both of us agreed we’d like to return, as there is still so much in the area we’ve yet to explore. A highlight was our visit to Armadale Castle gardens … peaceful and well-tended … and the museum there, which offers a wealth of insight into the island’s history and the story of Clan Donald.

It's a long slog to get to the Inn, especially as the ferry shuts as it does regularly. It's a welcoming site and an equally welcoming greeting. Rooms are clean and well presented, and the whole place has a coziness to it. Food is delicious - we ate evening meal there and a plentiful breakfast. It ain't cheap, but you get what you pay for.. and it was a nice stay during typically atrocious Scottish weather.

Came in without a reservation for our evening meal and they still kindly seated us in the bar area. We had the Haddock & Chips which came with tartar sauce and garden peas, highly recommend. One of the best fish and chips we’ve ever had!

My daughter and I came to this restaurant and had dinner one night. It was absolutely the best meal we had while we were in Scotland. The server was attentive without being bothersome, and the decor was charming. I would highly recommend the restaurant.

Went for lunch today and the food was great thank you. Lovely fish and chips with not only tartare sauce but coleslaw as well. Gemma was really lovely and helpful, couldn't have been nicer. We were really impressed with the quality of the food, thank you.

We stayed in Ardvasar for a few nights, and visited the Inn one evening for dinner. I can’t fault the service as it was absolutely brilliant and the food was amazing. They were also able to cater for my coeliac disease by offering a gluten free meal and dessert! Was impressed at how they catered for allergens.

The bar and restaraurant has just reopened for the season. Great team of folk running it so look out for a lively place to eat and drink. Friendly and chatty. Local mussels to die for, fish dishes and venison pie with a proper pie crust. The chef likes large portions.
