Friendly staff, clean room and room was a generous size with a very comfortable bed.

Very good choice for breakfast, although I decided to have the full English breakfast on both mornings (!) and it filled me up for the day.

Only very minor negative was some noise issues, but only to be expected in a popular public house and an old building.

I would happily stay here again.

Had a lovely evening at the railway Friday night. Team all warm and friendly, very busy food was amazing. They had there fires on. We had a chicken tikka wrap the colours were amazing and very filling. Although the pub was busy nothing was to much for them

Room was cosy and warm, nice TV, tea and coffee and kettle provided. Pleasant staff. Carpet quite worn and chair and curtains very stained, need a dry clean/upholstery clean. Breakfast nice, did wait a long while, but wasn't in a rush so didn't matter however, other people did complain about the delay

The room is on the first floor above a busy pub. Was worried about noise but got to sleep quickly. The building dates back to the 1930’s with many period features, I liked the fact it wasn’t spoiled although it looked tired on our approach to the room. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows and the linen good quality. We The shower room the best we had experienced throughout our weeks tour. There was no one around when we left at 8.30. We thought the breakfast menu looked better than previous hotels but we decided to eat later as we had a long day ahead.

We stayed at this lovely pub/hotel to celebrate our nephew’s wedding and we were made so welcome. Rooms were comfortable, with everything we needed. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Housekeeping knocked and checked if we needed anything. Bar and restaurant staff were polite and welcoming and breakfast was excellent. Thank you Matt and Stacy and all the staff. Look forward to returning.

Friendly inn with quiet rooms and friendly service. Food from the bar was fine. All you could want for a well priced single night stay.

Popped in yesterday for breakfast with family lovely service food was amazing cooked by Josie, order a breakfast and get free tea and coffee. Warm friendly atmosphere as soon as you enter plenty of choice on the menu to choose from, team are friendly when approaching the bar.

staff and breakfast were great. Really bad smell in room from either bathroom drains or damp. Complained to manager who said sorry but no more.
