Check in was easy and chap was friendly and informative. Room was decent size and had hair dryer as stated. -Bonus!
Shower was snug but good enough. Cleanliness I’d give an 8/10. Main thing was bed/bedding was fresh/clean!! Good blackout curtains!! Good amount of plug sockets. Impressed with the 12pm check out….
Quite noisy from downstairs/kitchen? In morning and didn’t like housekeeping knocking and disturbing as should’ve known we were checking out that day so can clean room after 12pm!?
Also placement of mirror is rubbish for lighting as shadowed on opposite side to light but minor issue. Just used bathroom.
Overall happy customers and good value for money.

Nice clean and comfortable rooms. Bathroom was spotless and shower nice and hot. Fan in room which was good as bedroom was a tad on the hot side. |Staff friendly and helpful.|Didn’t eat there but menu looked good and very reasonable prices. |Would certainly stay here again. |Parking is on Road outside.

We popped in for a carvery after a day out, we must say it was a perfect ending of our day exploring Norwich. The service was friendly and a great standard of care. Thank you to Jay for our amazing carvery you looked after us excellently. The surroundings were beautiful, looking out on a lovely landscape and boats on the broads whilst eating a lovely meal at a great price!

Room was lovely and situation on the riverside with the large beer garden was great. Large bathroom was appreciated. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and deserve special praise as the cheery nature made for a relaxing stay. The woodwork of the downstairs windows and exterior decor could do with being addressed. Breakfast until 11 and check out time of 12 were very much appreciated. The food was great and breakfast unhurried and calm. Thank you for a great stay.

Amazing roast!!! Friendly staff good service great price!!! When we turned up side dishes were low but within 5mins all filled! Roast potatoes, cauliflower, carrots ,peas, carrot and Swede mash stuffing. Beautiful beef turkey .Very full and happy, will go again ?

Located next to a river with pleasant views. Location good for getting into centre of City if Norwich which is wirth a visit. Easy parking. Decent breakfast and friendly efficient staff. Hotel a little tired, basically it is rooms above a food pub.

This hotel was okay however, would be better for couples, singles or a quick stay.
This hotel is not ideal for anyone with a pushchair, elderly or anyone with a disability because there is no access to a lift and the rooms require several flights of stairs to go up. I did not see this advertised.
Myself and my mate both have 11 months old and 1 year old so it was extremely difficult with bags and the pushchairs ect

We stayed in a family room which was spacious and light. The bathroom was also very spacious and clean.
The downfall with it our room was the windows were not maintained and a lot of bugs and flies came in. The carpet seemed really filthy too as and could do with a vacuum and a carpet shampoo. The rest was immaculate though in the rooms.

Beds were comfy and clean too

Staff were helpful - shout out to Emily who helped me up the stairs with my pram as my baby wasnt well / I was on my own.

Rooms could do with extra keys and maybe a fridge in the family room.

I would stay again but not with my baby.

family room had lovely view over river Yare and pub garden. Staff friendly and clean, pleasant room. Carvery was tasty!
