A lovely barrista with a beard served us and was very polite not sure on name sorry , with no problems, the rest of the staff polite also , and very knowledgeable ,, lovely latte coffee made by the nice female with the glasses not sure on name , lovely coffee

Out of curiosity I decided to investigate this place. I queed for quite some time as the service was slow and far too many ridiculously over the top concoctions were being ordered by those with far too much time on their hands. I sat and waited for my order to be called out at the collection point. I was presented with a small bucket of mediocre coffee. It sort of reminded me of Starbucks. They can't make coffee either. Prams seem to be a problem here and I'm beginning to appreciate the places that have stairs as it puts a lot of these single parents off.

I can't actually comment on the products but rather the rude attitude of one particular female member of staff. After being in the Co-op to buy some food with my 86 year old mother I sat down on the outside table. My elderly mother wasn't feeling well and I needed to sort the bags out. As soon as we sat down the female member of staff came rushing out and promptly sprayed cleaning product on the table so that it went all over us and then questioned whether we were customers. I said no, and that my mother needed a moment to rest and I needed to sort the bags out. I got a dirty look. As soon as we stood up she then started dragging the table and chairs away. Ten out of ten for the passive aggressive attitude. Zero for the empathy.

My partner is a coffee connoisseur and he was pleasantly impressed by the quality of the coffee. For me, I ordered a delicious iced sweet drink and I was stunned by the speed of which the drink was made. I paid for the drinks, walked over and they were both done. It is so clear to see that the communication, work ethic and skill set between the team members are very strong. I’m very pleased and impressed with my experience here.

Unlike some of the reviews on here we found the coffee to be very good and a good amount the scones we had were excellent and I think some people are to picky about this cafe as we very much enjoyed our visit Dave & Tina Johnson

What a shame, looked lovely but will now never try them.

We were in Bakewell but it was shortly after the public loos closed so we went back to the Co-op were we had just bought shopping. Our Autistic daughter asked to use their toilets but they refused unless she bought something. They then proceeded to charge her £2.50 for a bag of crisps.

Nice one Coop, clean, tidy well lit and arranged cafeteria, the staff are nice too. Tea and coffee tasty so the slice of a cake.

Friendly staff plenty on offer and great coffee. Great place to get free WiFi to sort out car park payment as internet is extremely slow in town centre when busy.
