Fantastic stay. From the warm welcome on arrival, the service in the bar/restaurant continued to exceed expectations.|Spotless room, comfortable bed and a spacious modern bathroom. |First class dinner and breakfast. |I stayed a few years ago, which was very good. This time, I stayed with a couple of friends on a golf trip and everything about our stay was even better.

I booked this last minute as my partner was in Ninewells hospital and it was too far to travel back for me . This hotel is beautiful and the room was lovely with a nice comfortable bed and great shower. Breakfast was a great selection and to sit and look over the River Tay was a bonus . Hopefully my partner and I can spend a weekend here when ge is better.

This was my first visit to this hotel due to my usual Dundee Premier Inn being fully booked. |Huge free car park to the rear of the hotel made parking easy. Check in was quick and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean and quiet during the night. |The food in the restaurant was excellent.|An enjoyable stay and a hotel I will most certainly return to.

My wife and I visited the Hotel restaurant for dinner and were seated at a table with truly magnificent views over the River Tay. | We both ordered fish goujons and scampi combo as mains. Food was really well presented and tasted fantastic. The batter was crisp and delicate. Delicious!| Dessert comprised home made sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream and fresh raspberries. 10/10. | Waiting staff were particularly friendly and very professional throughout. | I understand the Hotel recently won several awards for dining at a National Hotels of the Year event. I’m not surprised. A great dining experience. We’ll definitely be back.

I would NOT recommend this hotel. We were looking for a hotel close to St. Andrews with some reasonable options to play golf. This hotel checked three boxes: discounted golf, guest laundry, and price. All three of these features did not exist, unfortunately. ||1. When we checked in, we were told that an additional £27 would be added to our bill because I had only booked the night for one guest. This was unintentional and due to the fact that the BW app defaults to one guest when booking. I later learned that you literally have to go back and change it to two guests, and it’s very easy to miss. Anyway, I questioned this ridiculously high amount and was told it was £14 for an additional breakfast (understandable) and £13 for “linens” ( for one extra wet towel?).||2. The BW app listing states that there was a “guest laundry” (not true). We needed access to a laundry and booked this hotel because this was the day we would run out of clean clothes. When checking in, we were told the only laundry they offered was a service to send our clothes out the following morning for cleaning. We ended up having to find a launderette in town. Good thing we had a car!||3. We also picked this hotel because the listing on the app stated that, “Invercarse Hotel Guests receive preferential rates of up to 40% at Camperdown Golf Club, Monifieth Golf Club and Panmure Golf Club. Ask reception when you check-in how to get these discounts.” Upon our arrival, we learned that one of these golf courses hasn’t been open for a very long time, and the others offered only “up to 10%.” So the discounted golf was as non-existent as the guest laundry and reasonable nightly rate. ||Overall, this was a very disappointing experience that led us to cancel two other BW hotels on our UK trip and book with other hotels.

Great hotel with fantastic staff, aptly placed within a short distance from the middle Dundee and a short drive from St Andrews for the people that play that silly ball and stick game.

Only issue was that there were no climate controls within our room (unless you count the radiator)
This made for a slightly warmer night's sleep than was comfortable but I'm pretty sure that 99.9% of the time a warm room is actually an advantage. Given your distance from the nearby body of water, the brisk breeze and the generally colder climate I'd imagine that it's normally colder than when we visited (let's face facts here nobody is travelling to Dundee to get a tan lol).

Highly recommend the hotel and will be coming back again when in the area.

At the Invercarse Hotel there is no ‘stuffed shirt’ corporate attitude that seems to be present in the large chain hotels. From checking-in through to checking-out every staff member you encounter is cheerful, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We have stayed in the Invercarse Hotel on several occasions for quite lengthy periods and cannot fault the service we have had. The rooms are tastefully decorated and well serviced, the restaurant’s menu is well thought out and delicious as is the breakfast selection, providing continental and tasty cooked options. The good weather enabled us to sit in the hotel’s garden in the early evening, enjoying a drink, looking out across the River Tay to the Fife hills - there can’t be another hotel in Dundee that affords views like that. Anyone travelling to Dundee should take advantage of the Invercarse Hotel’s close proximity to travel routes including Dundee Airport which can be reached, on foot, in 10 minutes. The hotel is also a stone’s throw away from the main road routes to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and all parts north and south. We will certainly return.

Good value. Great people. Dundee central to airport. Quiet room. Food great. Service great.||Central location. Well priced. Joey was an amazing bar manager 110% for effort. Nothing was a problem.||Defo stay here again. Parking was easy. Sign posted. Rooms excellent.
