The owners are so friendly and accommodating, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. |We stayed for three nights and parked our car for free on site for the duration of our stay.|Amenities provided was a well stocked kitchen for making hot drinks, storing frozen or refrigerated goods, with little extras like snacks to take whenever you needed.|Towels were changed each day and the bathroom was beautifully clean and the shower was perfect.|The room was clean and the bed/bedding clean and soft, overall very very comfortable. |Again, the owners were absolutely amazing and would help whenever it was asked of them. |The Lodge is so close to the Barbican that you can easily explore Plymouth without having to drive. |We will be visiting again...and again and again 😅

You will not be disappointed!|I stayed here for a work trip for 4 days and I must say what a brilliant, pleasant and friendly experience. The owners are fantastic, so welcoming and helpful for any questions you have. The location is exceptional, with as little as a 2 minute walk to the bars and eateries in the harbour. There is limited off road parking, with the owners flexible in trying to accommodate all vehicles. I would definitely stay again, I loved every minute of my stay. BED IS SO COMFORTABLE.

Jacob and his wife run a fabulous guest house. It’s spotlessly clean and they go above and beyond to make your stay extra special. Location is great - local pubs and the waterfront are all within walking distance as is the Hoe, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Island Lodge and free parking just tops it off.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay.

The deco is amazing, the beds are comfortable, the place is clean and delightful throughout. And Jacob who runs the place is a friendly and lovely chap.

The location is superb as well. A 20 minute walk from Plymouth railway station and right near the Barbican area and waterfront.

Lovely place to stay bed was good. Hot shower. There was tea, coffee hotchoclate, biscuits in the room. Clean room and clean, loo basin and shower . TV in the room with different channels.
Lots of birds in the garden outside.
Close to centre of Plymouth.
Owner very friendly
Slept well.
Did not see any other guests .
Stairs to go up to room. Good place to stay .

The best hotel I have stayed at so far (within the UK). The owner is super helpful and welcoming. Rooms are very clean and modern, the bed was so comfy and pillows/duvet super soft. Decor is functional and making the most of the space. Plenty of tea, coffee, flavoured coffee, biscuits. Well stocked bathroom. The power shower was delightful. Absolutely brilliant!!!

I was very relieved to arrive after a long and stressful day of travel! I wasn’t traveling with a dog - in fact I was in Plymouth to meet a future dog - and it was lovely to arrive and see dog biscuits in the entrance hall. I was travelling alone and had booked a single room. I expected it to be small, and it was, but it didn’t feel cramped. It was a lovely, fresh feeling room, spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and to a high end finish. I had everything I needed to be comfortable and slept well. I would definitely stay here again - excellent value for money. Thank you for hosting me!

I only wanted a single room and it was a great room. It wasn't massive but it did what it's supposed to do. Very comfortable bed, good shower and really well fitted out with lovely little nautical oddments.

It was clean bright and well decorated. There's no breakfast but a communal kitchen with kettle, coffee maker, toaster etc. there's a kettle and coffee etc in the room
