We spent 2 nights at this cute B&B with John and Jenny, the best host that we've come across so far. It's simply one of the best, affordable and beautiful place to stay in scotland. A captivating small bunglow in the tranquil location over looking the scenic beauty. Luxurious en-suite double/twin bedrooms both giving you the beautiful countryside view.|John and Jenny are the most friendly and very hospitable couple. They were going out of their way to make our stay and onward travel very comfortable and pleasant.|The bedrooms were very spacious, smartly decorated, with attached shower rooms. The bedrooms offered you a splendid views of their garden and the rolling hills beyond..One could see and feel the warmth and homely atmosphere in it, everything is so well arranged and artistically kept, could see Jenny's hand in it.|We loved the fantastic breakfast. The breakfast orders were taken well in advance the previous night itself and it had a wide varieties to choose from. Everything was freshly cooked and baked by Jenny and served by John with lot of love. They also packed some freshly baked croissants, sandwiches, fruits and cakes for our onward journey. We will never forget this great hospitality. It's almost impossible for us to visit Scotland and not to plan a stay with J&J. Once again thank you very much John and Jenny for making our stay not only pleasant but memorable one too!

We have been visiting this lovely B&B for 4 years. In fact it is like going into a friends home now. We are made so welcome by John and Jenny who always meet you on arrival to help you with your luggage. Our room faced the garden and the hills in the background. In the morning we watched John collect the eggs for our breakfast which was cooked by Jenny and was a real treat and John was the perfect waiter! The breakfast were so delicious and plentiful that I am sure we will have put on a pound or two!||||The cleanliness of the property was superb and decorated beautifully with furnishings and extras such as toiletries of high quality indeed. There were lovely cakes/flapjacks etc in the bedroom which were tempting even after a good meal in a restaurant! The dining room was pleasant with 2 separate tables.. Granton on Spey is a lovely area and apart from walking the drives are wonderful. Long may John and Jenny continue to provide bed and breakfast for all us lucky guests.||We will be back in 2019 to enjoy this lovely B&B again. ||||Thank you for looking after us so well.

We spent two fabulous nights with John and Jenny. Their home is immaculate. The pictures of the room are accurate and attention to the extra special details appreciated. We looked forward to Jenny's freshly baked treats. Breakfast of French toast served with summer berries was delicious and artfully presented. We are thankful and apprecitive of John's driving us to and fro and for the recommendation of The Craig bar for excellent pie and chips. Thank you John and Jenny for sharing your home with us.

my second stay at Bedrock was just the way I exepcted. It was like coming home. The breakfast cooked by Jenny was splendid, she's truly the Queen of Breakfast. Then there is John, with his great sense of humor. If you don't know where to go, he's the man to ask. Last but not least, the the place is neat, quiet and comfortable. There's a distillery in walking distance, they produce a great tasting gin.

My husband and I recently stayed at John and Jenny's home during our Speyside Way walk. John and Jenny were welcoming and warm. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast ample. ||||John was kind enough to drop off us off in town so we could have dinner and then pick us up afterwards. ||||My husband had an old knee injury that flared up so he decided to skip the next day's walking. John offered to drive him to our next destination rather than than have us incur the cost of a taxi if we didn't mind reimbursing him for gas. John made sure he got settled in to our next hotel. ||||Thank you for the lovely stay!

The location is beautiful and well-placed for doing the whisky trail. John recommended eating at the Craig Bar and we didn't regret it - great pies and a wonderful atmosphere. John and Jenny are both very welcoming and warm. The house is charming and the bedrooms very comfortable.

My brother, husband and myself stayed here for four nights. It is a wonderful B&B, spotless accommodation and enormous breakfasts. The hosts are incredibly attentive. Loved the cup cakes left in our rooms each night. A really peaceful rural location only 3 miles from Grantown on Spey. We will certainly be back when in the area.

Jim the owner at Double J went above and beyond to accomadate us after our vehicle broke down outside of Troy. He immediately dropped what he was doing and came and picked us up from the tow yard without hesititation and even offered to take us anywhere in town if we didnt want to stay at his b&b. He made sure we had everything we needed for the night made sure we were comfortable and felt welcomed. The next morning he even drove us back into town to catch a ride, we truly felt like family. Couldnt say enough about the kindness and generosity of jim at double j. If your in the area hes the man to see about a room.
