Highly Recommend!
The whole experience at Japanese Head Spa Durham was incredibly relaxing. From start to finish, every detail was perfect. My hair and scalp felt so clean afterward, and the amazing scent lingered for days. It’s the perfect way to unwind and treat yourself. I had a Japanese head spa with Carrie and it was absolutely amazing!
Started with a chat and consultation about my scalp - had a look and saw my inflamed dry scalp! 😳
Had a mesmerising experience and left completely relaxed and with a clear scalp!
Would 1000% recommend for anyone who wants a bit of ‘me’ time! Thank you so much! 🥰

If you are looking for complete relaxation then this absolute gem is a must. The ambience is so serene, with soft lighting and soothing music which puts you at ease immediately. During the treatment you can feel the stresses melt away, it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had, the smells of the products used were devine. I would highly recommend anyone booking. I travelled over an hour for this and I definitely want disappointed. I will be back and I can’t wait to see what the new, bigger premises look like so that I can enjoy this together with my daughter.

What an amazing experience I have had today at Japanese Head Spa Durham. The treatments are out of this world, so relaxing and my scalp and hair have truly never felt better. Carrie was fabulous, made me feel so welcomed and relaxed and she is very good at what she does. Can’t recommend enough! Had the 85 minute head spa experience this afternoon. Absolute bliss. Claire is so knowledgable and really lovely to talk to. The camera before and after was fascinating and I felt so relaxed the whole time. Thanks so much. I’ll definitely be back and recommending you to all of my friends 🙏🏻

I had the 80 minute Japanese headspa today with Claire & can highly recommend. This will definitely be a regular treat for me. Claire was absolutely lovely and explained it very well. Not sure I’ve ever felt so relaxed before!!

This was such a relaxing experience. I had the 'bliss' package and came away feel so chilled, smelling amazing with lovely silky hair. The massages were wonderful and the package included arm, neck and face massage.The water made it feel like I was under a waterfall, the water was really well controlled so none went in my eyes or on my face as i know some people worry about that. I will definitely be doing this again. Fantastic way to practice a bit of self care.

A fantastic Experience!
I can’t recommend Japanese Head Spa Durham and Carrie enough! The treatment was so soothing and refreshing. My scalp felt deeply cleansed, my hair smelled amazing, and i felt incredibly relaxed from start to finish. It’s the perfect way to de-stress and pamper yourself for sure. I’ll definitely be back very soon!
