We travelled the 150 miles from Kent to a funeral in Norfolk. On the way Bert thoughtfully phoned us to say we could check in early to enable us to freshen up. Bert was a brilliant, chatty, knowledgeable and funny host and nothing was too much trouble. He introduced us to Jeffrey, his cat, and warned that we should keep our door shut if we didn't want him to visit. We love cats so were happy for him to come in. The room is huge with large TV, 2 comfy easy chairs and 2 large single beds which were both fully electrically adjustable. The view from the room is lovely. The bathroom is huge and spotless with both a bath and shower. Bert took orders for breakfast the night before and said we could basically have whatever we liked at a time to suit us. We chose a full English which was probably the best we have ever had. If we are travelling to that part of Norfolk in future we will definitely stay at Jeffery's. In fact we might just make a special trip!

Bert and Jeffery welcomed us into their home. The comfiest beds. Lovely breakfast with local produce. Beautiful cottage garden. We both enjoyed talking to Bert and Jeffery was delightful. Beautiful 350 year old cottage with amazing views. With easy reach of Walsingham and many other picturesque villages and coastal towns. Will definitely be returning next year.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Bert and Jeffery are always welcoming. Great location for Thursford, Norwich, Sandringham and many more places. Lovely and warm room, with fantastic beds. Highly recommended

First class bed and breakfast accommodation in a lovely old forge situated in the countryside. The property is less than 2 miles from Walsingham and overlooking the Catholic Shrine just across the fields. The house is tastefully furnished with antiques, complementing the historic character of the building. The wonderfully spacious and attractive bedroom boasts comfortable high quality adjustable twin beds, a modern TV with Freeview and Netflix and armchairs to relax in. There is plenty of storage for your things and the separate private bathroom with a shower and bath is just down the hall with towels and toiletries provided.||||This B&B is expertly hosted by Bert and his beloved cat Jeffrey. Nothing was too much trouble and Bert prepared us a superb full English breakfast with fresh local ingredients. Highly recommended.

This beautiful B&B is just amazing. Bert, the host is very attentive and accommodating. A perfect location with Walsingham nearby and jump in your car 30 minutes you can be in either Wells, Cromer, Holt, Sheringham and Blakeney if you want to see the beautiful seals. The beds are so comfy and the breakfast you request can be met. Great stay and will certainly be back.

Bert was lovley ,I so enjoyed my time there ,jeffrey the cat was lovley to,room was comfortable, bed was amazing had everything in there I wanted ,private bathroom was brilliant, breakfast was amazing sausage 2eggs,bacon fried mushrooms fried potatoes beens toast tea and juice, scrumptious it was,location was beautiful, went to the black lion in Waltham fir everening meal was amazing food to .definitely going back next yearx
