We booked this venue for a hen weekend and we weren't disappointed! The accomodation fit us all in comfortably. The hot tub and bbq were wonderful (we did have to hunt down fire starters for the bbq so a note on where to find them in the welcome pack would be helpful), and the party room managed to keep everyone entertained all weekend! Highly recommend!

Fantastic for hen and stag does or large family gatherings. Well looked after and maintained. Plenty of outside space for adding fun activities such as rodeo bull, assault courses, adult bouncy castles etc

Currently on our second stay at Cabo Farmhouse. We absolutely love it here and have came back twice with our family. The owner is amazing & her staff are very kind and helpful.
It’s completely out of the way so we can let our little Yorkie run round the grounds. It’s close enough to Stamford bridge, Malton & York so you can pop to the shops if you need anything.
There’s plenty beds and one room full of bunkbeds which the little ones thought was absolutely amazing! There’s plenty beds, outdoor area is lovely & the addition of the hot tub is amazing (we use it every time even though we always come in jan).
I can imagine this place is amazing for a party but don’t rule it out for family gatherings as it’s perfectly cozy and has everything you’d need.

14 of us mixed ages, 3 families stayed together at villa hacienda near York. On entering the place there's a lovely big kitchen we'll stocked with all the pots pans and champagne flutes you could need, even a couple of bags of ice in the freezer, tea and coffee. The fridge also has an ice dispenser. Welcome pack with local takeaways, wifi details and that, very big living room with massive tele and sky. We did a bit of halloween decorating and had a real hoot dressing up and playing hide and seek with the kids. There is then a big patio, sofas with a big hot tub which was lovely. 5 bedrooms in the house and a heated shed with additional beds, all the boys had the shed loved having there own space it has proper beds and heated they where most happy. Then there is the party area with a pool table, pac man,bar, mirror balls another fridge with ice, large decked area. We took the dog he was happy pottering around in the middle of nowhere, so very safe. Stamford bridge just 4 miles away and york 20 mins. We will most definitely be looking at going back, great for family get-togethers as well as hen and stag dos. Would be great for Christmas

We visited Dec 24 for the weekend, as a party of 10 including children.|The house was immaculate and had every amenity going for it. The kids especially enjoyed the games room.|It is a short drive into York but had loads of local villages with plenty of shops and takeaways. |Would highly recommend.

Stayed at Villa Hacienda on a hen do with a large group in September. The house is quite hard to find - definitely need sat nav! It is a really private place as a result though so good for partying! The main house had a large kitchen that was well equipped and a large fridge. Large well appointed lounge with TV and sound system. Wifi good. Dining room off lounge with space for all to sit at separate tables. One shower room downstairs with toilet plus an outside loo and sink. Separate to the main house was a bar and games room. Upstairs multiple multi-occupancy bedrooms with bunks and beds. I slept in the 'summer house' outside so can't comment on bedrooms, some people said they slept well others less so - guess it is down to the individual. The summer house had three single beds. I found it comfortable to sleep in and quiet. Warm enough not to have tried the electric radiators when we were there. You do have to go on a walk to the loo though! Lovely grounds with a hot tub which was enjoyed by all. And outside fire. We stayed in the first night we were there and then went out in York the second night. It is a fair way away so build into your trip booking of taxis if a night out is what you want. Overall I think this is a good spot for big groups who are able to self cater and be responsible for the property. Only downside for me was that the water pressure was really low so chose not to attempt hair washing on two night stay! Others said this was similar in all the shower rooms.

Had this house for the weekend for a stag do. There were 18 of us and there was plenty of space for us all. Very comfortable. The outdoor area was epic and perfect for the celebrations. The grounds were huge and ideal for a few activities like laser clay shooting. Kitchen was well equipped for a private chef to do dinner for us. Highly recommend for big groups that want to a comfortable rural experience!

Me and my friend stayed at the Hideout Manor for my Stag Do in June, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We particularly liked the outside area, as there was plenty of seating area, and a good area to play football with a football goal. We also really enjoyed our time in the outside cabin which has a dart board, sky TV, a bar and plenty of seating area for everyone to gather. The hot tub and BBQ are also a great addition.||The house is lovely inside, and plenty of beds for a large group of people to stay in. Again, none of us could fault this house in anyway, and was perfect for a large group of lads.||I'd also like to say that Caroline was very helpful throughout the booking process and after, and was always happy to answer any questions I had, and was always quick to respond to them via email. She was very informative and happy to help however she could :)||We were also given an earlier check-in of 1pm instead of 4pm, and a later checkout of 11am instead of 10pm without asking, which we really appreciated.||They also had a deal with a local taxi firm which meant that taxi's into/back from York City Center were at a fixed price of £20/£30 per taxi, which was great for us as a large group.||Tea, coffee, sugar, towels etc were all provided too which was great.||Overall, I couldn't recommend the Hideout Manor enough to anyone, especially for a Stag/Hen Do, and would happily return here in the future with my friends.||Highly recommend!
