I have had a 6-month run of work in North Tawton and have called in for breakfast every Friday; always had the 'Proper Job' full English. The food has always been fresh and very good and I can recommend Jen's Cafe to everybody.

Had a mixed berry super smoothie.... oh my goodness... to say it was delicious is an understatement!!
The cinnamon toast with ALL the toppings is terrific too... I'm full to burst!!
See you again when I have a week day off!!

The Best in the West! I had a breakfast called Proper Job. It was proper lush! The sausages and the black pudding were as good as I have ever tasted. The coffee was strong and tasty. My friend had chocolate cake and she said that it was light and fluffy., and really tasty. It certainly looked incredible (as did our breakfasts). Did I mention the customer service? Oh my word! I think the staff that work here should be used as role models for all other customer facing staff across the planet (in order to teach the world how best to interact with customers). Six stars! Ten stars! You can have all of the stars! Thank you so much for making me feel safe and welcome.

Terrible service, 20 minutes or more to be served. The soup was frozen, and it was in a supermarket container, I saw it when they took it out of the freezer along with other food. It seems that nothing is fresh. They catered to people who came after us before us. The soup was served with hot dog bread, it seems that in that town nobody cooks homemade bread. I do not recommend it in any way

The food was tasty and delicious however there was no vegan sausage which was part of the order but was not communicated with us till after the meal came. The service was really nice and the atmosphere was pleasant.
