For the price you are paying, the service and stay is exceptional. Reception staff are friendly and offering to go above and beyond, room was clean, provided with all the essentials, and although the kitchen is shared (expected with the price) the amount of cooking equipment provided means you don't have to go out your way to prepare some good easy meals in the morning. Overall cant recommend this enough for the price. Also TV was a great addition.

Sorry, but a full house is not really an excuse for not being able to provide guests with hairdryers upon request. Get some more hairdryers. You can’t expect guests to put up with wet hair on a cold wet day in Sheffield. Okay, not the most expensive hotel, but even a Travelodge has enough hairdryers at reception. A real dampener on my stay.

Very noisy outside and within, ie shouting outside and talking /plugs/switches/and banging around in adjacent room.

Access to a kitchen is good, but need to keep in top of cleaning and not rely on guests to keep tidy and clean. This was once student accommodation but doesn’t mean guests expect halls of residence levels of cleanliness. Microwave needs a deep clean and bins too dirty to touch to open.

This hotel could be a great value proposition. Generally prefer to leave reviews where five stars merited. With improvements this hotel could get there.

The Hotel is a good walk into City Centre. Rooms are basic but are clean & tidy, & staff are helpful & friendly. I was woken up early hours of morning by someone shouting & swearing , & banging doors. Although it did quite down quickly. Apart from all that ? It's ok.

Absolutely brilliant hotel. Very reasonably priced, lovely and clean, comfortable bed, great facilities, plenty of space to chill out and free tea/coffee/croissant in the morning. Only downside is very limited parking.

Good stay really helpful staff inside, nice walk around the campus village, room was clean decent size and basic items, no kettle in the room but we noticed a kitchen on floor 1 so unsure if you can use that if you require longer stays, overall really good and friendly service offered a pastry and coffee in the morning, coffee was basic but you can order a speciality coffee at reception/cafe if you like. Very affordable

Great location in the Endcliffe student accommodation and Halifax Hall Conference Centre and close to the beautiful Porter Brook valley. Service from the reception staff (especially Mica) was superb.

Room was small but comfortable for one person. Reasonable sized shower room.

Complementary breakfast (pastry and hot drink). There are also shared kitchens.

There was some noise at night, but to be expected given the location. There's a convenience shop on site, open late.

Very handy for parents visiting their offspring, open days and reunions.

Excellent value.

Nice location for botanical gardens. Student style accommodation with fun decor, quirky games and games rooms. Useful kitchen, bonus pastry and coffee in the morning.
