We had our wedding at The Judd's Folly Hotel in July 2024. The team at the hotel made everything so perfect. Special mention to Carlie the events coordinator there who made sure everything was planned in advance and that there were no problems on the day. She offered fantastic advice and was so flexible with details/timings/changes. She even kept the registrars at bay on the wedding day when it started to drizzle for a moment to make sure we got our outside wedding that we wanted (even if delayed 15mins till the sun came back out). The venue was perfect for us as the gardens to the back were beautiful to get married in, there was loads of space outside for drinks/canapes/kids to play, the suites were spacious for me and 6 bridesmaids to get ready, the rooms were reasonably priced for guests, the food was fantastic, the flowers included as part of the package looks beautiful, the staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast in the morning was great... I could keep going.
Unlike a lot of wedding venues we looked at where there a multiple hidden costs that could easily get out of hand, The Judd's Folly offered a package which included so much for our money!
Highly recommend if you're looking to book your wedding!

A totally amazing and fantastic Christmas stay package.|The welcome from owners Jason and Chris was warm and friendly. The rest of the staff were simply terrific. They could not do enough for us. |The food quality was way higher than a 3 star hotel. Excellent catering for vegans and vegetarians.|The enternainments were well thought out, thoroughly enjoyable and the magician was excellent.|The hotel gave guests surprise gifts in the room and on Christmas morning at breakfast too. This was a lively touch.|Rooms very clean.|A very enjoyable stay.|We have booked for Christmas 25 and plan to to come for a mid week break soon.|I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Go there. Enjoy.

Just had a two night break here. The hotel is set in green & tranquil surroundings & all you really hear is the birds tweeting! All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the lovely Vikki, who went 'the extra mile' to ensure we had a happy stay!

We booked Judd's Folly for our Christmas meal. |The few positives first- the staff and the setting. The staff were brilliant and polite but would not say they are efficient. We went to order drinks from the staff at the bar only to be told we had to wait because they were going into meeting. One member of staff kept on apologising for the meal and claiming she did not know what was going on in the kitchen. |The meal itself was appalling. The prawn cocktail starter was underwhelmed- the bread was dry and it almost seemed to have come from the end of a loaf- the prawns were okay but nothing to write home about. Sorbet was lovely- but half melted, would have more appropriate to have had a straw than a spoon. Onto the main course and this was incredibly disappointing. Now I have worked in catering and understand that their are limitations and constraints on catering for such a large amount but the main course was incredibly poor. Turkey was okay but a tiny amount, the pigs in blankets were WELL done, the vegetables were overdone and soggy( one member of our party had one slither of carrot and parsnip) the stuffing was dry, the gravy was watery and the potatoes were well done- not crispy, not seasoned and tiny pieces. Then finally onto the pudding, it was okay but supposedly brandy custard. No one from our party could taste the brandy at all. Coffee was meant to come after this- we had to serve ourselves as it never materialised- however we did eventually after a long wait get the mince pie that was meant to accompany the coffee. |It was an awful experience- for the money we paid, it was dire. Left feeling very disheartened and underwhelmed.

We had the pleasure of working alongside Carlie and the team at Judds Folly at an amazing wedding on Saturday the 29th of March providing live music, we have performed at this venue multiple times and have to say it has been a great party every time! We work with many venues and this is a real gem in the heart of Kent, the space and layout of the function room works really well, topped of with the super friendly staff booking this venue is a no brainer!

My husband and I had our wedding reception organised and orchestrated by the amazing Carlie in May 2024. I was 20 weeks pregnant at my wedding and Carlie and her team did EVERYTHING they could to make it as easy and perfect for us as possible. We even did a gender reveal for our now little girl when cutting our cake! Could not recommend getting married here more. We even had our yellow Labrador for photos and staying in one of the dog friendly rooms with my parents. I would not change a thing! 🩷

Our second time at Judd’s Folly. Staff always make you feel welcome and take the time to chat with you. Food is very good (can absolutely recommend the salmon). Junior suite very comfortable and has a sofa which is always great. Also a fridge which is a godsend in Summer. Normally always something going on so a good atmosphere in the bar and lounge. Not too far away from the first pubs in Faversham. Looking forward to visiting again.

We were lucky enough to have or wedding here . October 2024! It was beautiful. Because of the time of year Carlie had a backup plan for everything. But lucky was on our side and we managed to have our special day outside under the willow tree . Stunning is an understatement. The staff had everything perfectly timed like clockwork ! Carlie really got us and listened to every detail . The food was amazing, the decorations were perfect , just what we wanted . The owner was also amazing ! He ordered in my favourite drink just for me . ( cream soda ) and archers . The rooms were so beautiful, spacious and clean . We can't thank you guys enough . See you on our anniversary ❤️ lots of love The Matthews x
